This is a new one for me! Many seniors want to incorporate their sport into their sessions. No problem at all! But this one was a bit different. She was playing in the Arnold Palmer Pro Am tournament at Bay Hill! It is a once in a life time opportunity, so I was very honored that they wanted me to be there to document this amazing event. This is something out of my norm, so that made it even more fun! I couldn’t do any posing 😉 And while I was able to walk along side of the course, I still had to keep a little bit of a distance so my shutter clicks wouldn’t be a distraction. While I don’t know much about golf, it was so much fun to watch her play. She is really good! (In my totally unbiased opinion, she was the best one out there 😉 ).
Here are a few photos from our day:
Next senior up on the blog, is beautiful Sarah! We had such a fun time on our deluxe (two location) shoot. She bought her big sister along with her to act as her assistant (who is also a former senior of mine 😉 ). The three of us started her session at Dickson Azalea, and then finished it up doing something totally different. “Glam golf”. She is a very talented golfer, and we will be doing another sports session for her later in the school year. But those will be all action shots. This was to get some pretty and fun golf photos for her! At the golf course, they were so sweet to us. After seeing Sarah in a full length gown, they offered us some golf carts to make things a little easier. Definitely made it easier than walking a couple of holes in heels!
Now that the school year has officially started everywhere, if you haven’t booked YOUR senior photo session yet, what are you waiting for?! Have an idea of what you want for your session? Let me know, and I’m happy to make that happen for you. Your senior photos should be all about YOU and what you want!
Now back to Sarah! Here are some sneak peeks from our session:
Next senior up on the blog, is the beautiful Abby! Abby had a deluxe (two location) session. Since she is on the water polo team, she wanted the pool as one of her locations. I love being able to go to different places! The second location she chose was Casa Feliz. This is one of my favorite places, because it was one of my very first locations that I started shooting at over 10 years ago. The one tricky part about Casa, is that I prefer to shoot it in the afternoon. Afternoon in the summer is tough. Not only is it really hot out, it is also a good chance that it will be raining. (And I have to book it in advance). So, basically all the stars need to be aligned! This afternoon was no exception. It was rainy all afternoon, but we kept in touch and when it looked like there was going to be a break in the rain, we headed over. The rain gods smiled on us, and held off for us to do our shoot. So glad that we could have a good day to have this sweet girl’s shoot!

Next senior up on the blog, is the gorgeous Gianna! I was lucky enough to spend two days with her. Normally the deluxe (2 location) sessions are done in the same day, one right after the other. However, I don’t do that when one of the locations is the beach. Reason being, we are there at sunrise, and by the end, we are wet, sandy, and windblown. Not exactly optimal for going to the next location ;). So, we do it on a separate morning! Gianna chose the beach and her school for sports photos. When we were at the beach, she had a great entourage to come with her. Sisters and mom! I had a great time with all of those sweet ladies. And they were so smart, they opted to stay at the beach the night before. So, it wasn’t as early to get up and get going for the sunrise. It was a beautiful sunrise that morning. The next shoot day at the school, the entourage wasn’t able to join us, but Dad and her coach did (THANK YOU!!). And Dad helped me with the fire (yes, for sports, I do real fire – totally and completely safe, no worries). I’ve enjoyed getting to know Gianna a little better and getting her some beautiful senior photos!
Here are some sneak peeks from our shoots:
Next senior up on the blog is Stephen! He is such a great kid, and we had a great time on our shoot at Rollins. Not only were WE having fun, but I think his mom had even more fun than we were! I love it when everyone is having a good time on a shoot. It makes for really great photos.
Not done with the class of 2016 yet! Next senior up on the blog is Madison. Madison, her mom, and I had a great time at our shoot at Maitland Art Center. It is such a great location, that I don’t get to shoot at all that often. At the end of our shoot, she wanted to do some fire shots for volleyball. And you know, I’m always up for some fire photos! And she definitely had her “game face” (fierce!) perfected for her sports photos! Here are a few sneak peeks from our shoot:
Next senior up on the blog is Ben! His older sister was one of my reps a couple of years ago, so of course, his parents wanted lots of great photos of Ben too! And he was a good sport with all of it. We got lots of great photos, and finished up with sports photos with fire! I love lighting stuff on fire (I guess it is the being married to a firefighter thing, because firefighters are all piros!). I promise, it is all safe! I would never put my seniors in danger. 😉 If you have an upcoming shoot with me, and want some fire, just let me know ahead of time, so I can come prepared!

The next senior I had the pleasure of meeting and photographing was Gabby! We had a great session at the beach. My beach shoots are early. Sunrise at Cocoa Beach. They are beautiful, and totally worth it, but it IS early! Gabby didn’t seem phased at all with the early start time, as she was beautiful and ready to rock her shoot!
Here are a few sneak peeks from our session:
I had the pleasure of meeting this family a couple years ago when I photographed Dalton’s older brother for his senior photos. I love it when families are so happy with their senior photos, that they come back and trust me to photograph their siblings! Dalton was so great and so much fun to photograph! He was all smiles and so comfortable in front of the camera.
Here are a few sneak peeks from his shoot:
I love shooting senior guys! Especially ones that WANT the photos taken. Of course, I can make the shoot quick and painless for those guys who are just wanting nice photos for their mommas. But when they relax and have fun with their shoot, THAT is really awesome. Joey was hilarious to shoot. Yes, we got nice (normal) shots for mom, but he also wanted baseball photos AND a couple of silly photos. Including him in his most favorite outfit – his pajamas. Hahaha! Whatever the senior wants, I want to make it happen for them. This is THEIR session, and I want them to not only love their photos, but I want them to have fun with the entire experience.
Here are a few sneak peeks from Joey’s session (including one of his silly ones ~ taking a selfie in his pjs):
