Back from my relaxing vacation, and now it is time to get back to some fun senior sessions! Next senior up is the beautiful Maura! Her entourage included mom, younger sister, and friend (who was a past JPSearcy senior too!). She chose Rollins as her location. We had a lot of laughs at our shoot. Maura is a funny, lighthearted girl. She didn’t even mind when her mom suggested her doing something different, like running thru the sprinklers. I can honestly say, I have never had a senior want to run in the sprinklers before! So when we were done, she happily ran and leaped in the water. We ended up only having about 2 minutes and then the sprinklers turned off. Did get a couple of really cute shots in that short time though!
Here are some sneak peeks from our shoot:
Next senior up on the blog is the beautiful Nikki! I had so much fun photographing and getting to know Nikki a little better. We had a lot of laughs at both of her locations – Park Ave and Rollins. In fact, it was difficult for her to have any serious looks because of all of the laughs. I love that she was able to relax and have fun on her shoot. At the end of the shoot, she wanted fountain photos. I always tell my seniors, there is no graceful way to get up there (and that is why they should wear sliders under skirts 😉 ). Well, Nikki was the FIRST one ever to get up there gracefully! One shot and done! Usually takes several tries, and sometimes mom will need to get in there and help boost. She caught me totally off guard when she did it on the first try, and did it gracefully! She made up for it though, and did the most un-graceful dismount getting down. She and her mom were cracking up at that one!

The next senior up on the blog is the beautiful Kaylee! She brought a friend and her mom with her to act as her assistants during her shoot. The 4 of us had such a good time! The first location she chose was one I hadn’t been to before. She wanted an overgrown grassy field (a common request). I told her that I didn’t have one, but if she could find one, I’m all over it! Well, she found one. However, I don’t know that we were totally prepared for all of the muck and mud in that was there. If I go there again, rain/mud boots will be a necessity! But that all led to the experience of the morning ;). The second location she chose, I know like the back of my hand. Rollins! Rollins is my most requested location, and for good reason. Lots of beautiful spots to take photos.

Thought I was done with the class of 2018, but I am happy to say, I have just one more senior! She was such a delightful one to end the school year with! She is so beautiful and so sweet, not to mention, photogenic! Delaney and her mom chose two great locations – Rollins and Dickson Azalea. And thankfully, with all of the rain we have had in the past couple of weeks, we totally lucked out and had a very nice morning to shoot.
Here are a couple of sneak peeks from each of her locations:
I had a great time meeting this family. I already had met half of them, because the oldest son had his senior photos taken a few months ago! I love when families realize the importance of getting family photos, especially after the kids are little. Why is it that we stop getting family photos when the kids get older? There is never a perfect time to do a family session, but before college sounds pretty close to the perfect time to me!
Here are a few sneak peeks from their session:
I’m not quite done with the class of 2018! Next senior up on the blog, is the beautiful Cassidy! She is super sweet, and I had a great time on her deluxe shoot with her and her mom. The two locations Cassidy chose were two of my most popular locations ~ Park Ave and Rollins. We were lucky with a very nice morning to shoot! Temperature was perfect, not too hot, not too cold, and overcast skies. Can’t ask for much more than that!

If you are in the class of 2018, and haven’t gotten senior photos that you love yet, why not give me a call?! I am still booking for current seniors, but I do want to warn you. There isn’t very much time left! The second semester of the senior year flies by, and graduation will be here before you know it. THANKS!!
Next senior up on the blog is JJ! Nope, not done with seniors yet! Time is winding down for the class of 2018, so if you are still needing senior photos, you will want to get on my calendar soon. But back to THIS session ~ it was JJ and his mom at Rollins. We had such a good time, and he is such a great guy! His mom would do anything to get a good, natural smile out of him. So basically, I was entertained as well. Haha! He was a great sport, and I kept my promise of keeping his shoot under an hour. With guys, I work faster. Girls? They tend to want me to drag it out longer 😉
Here are a few sneak peeks from his shoot:
Next senior up on the blog is Julia! We had a great time at her deluxe (two location) session at Rollins and Kraft Azalea. Joining her was her mom, AND her pup! I love when seniors bring their puppies with them. As long as someone is there to take care of the dog, and you understand that dogs can be worse to pose than toddlers! Haha! Dad was able to swing by and pick up the pup and then the focus could go back to Julia 😉 She is gorgeous, and a total sweetheart. Not to mention, a natural in front of the camera. All made for a great shoot!
Here are a couple of sneak peeks from each of our locations:
Next senior up on the blog is the beautiful Lily! We had such a great time on her shoot at Rollins with Lily, her mom, her sister, and her friend. With that many girls at a shoot, we are bound to have a lot of fun! Our fun started bright and early when the entire entourage came over to my house to meet up with one of the make up artists I work with. After she was all glammed up, we hit the road and drove to Winter Park to do our shoot at Rollins College. Still my most requested location! And it is for good reason. It is a beautiful location!

Whew! Finally back after hurricane Irma came thru and stole a couple of weeks from us! Hopefully this finds all of you safe (and with power restored 😉 ). And hopefully there are no more hurricane threats for us for a nice long time!
I was so glad to get back to shoots again. And what a great senior to start back with! Samiyah, her mom, and I had a great time shooting at Rollins this weekend. She was such a sweetheart, and just a pleasure to get to know and to photograph. And, not to mention, the weather was actually quite pleasant as well! Could it be, a little hint of fall on the horizon?! Don’t want to jinx anything there! Here are a few sneak peeks from Samiyah’s session:
