Back from my relaxing vacation, and now it is time to get back to some fun senior sessions! Next senior up is the beautiful Maura! Her entourage included mom, younger sister, and friend (who was a past JPSearcy senior too!). She chose Rollins as her location. We had a lot of laughs at our shoot. Maura is a funny, lighthearted girl. She didn’t even mind when her mom suggested her doing something different, like running thru the sprinklers. I can honestly say, I have never had a senior want to run in the sprinklers before! So when we were done, she happily ran and leaped in the water. We ended up only having about 2 minutes and then the sprinklers turned off. Did get a couple of really cute shots in that short time though!
Here are some sneak peeks from our shoot:
Next senior up on the blog is the beautiful Haley! She brought mom and a good friend along with her to play the role of assistant/guest snap chatter for the day ;). She is such a sweet girl who had really been looking forward to her shoot! We had so much fun! The two locations that she chose were Park Ave and Dickson Azalea. Two great locations. Haley learned quickly that it is tough work being a gorgeous model! The getting up before dawn/squatting/posing/outfit changing/smiling even though you are getting hot, can really be tough! She was a trooper though, and looked beautiful the whole way thru the shoot. I can’t wait for her to see all of the photos, but for now, just a little sneak peek!
Here are a few shots from our shoot:
Next senior up on the blog is the beautiful Nikki! I had so much fun photographing and getting to know Nikki a little better. We had a lot of laughs at both of her locations – Park Ave and Rollins. In fact, it was difficult for her to have any serious looks because of all of the laughs. I love that she was able to relax and have fun on her shoot. At the end of the shoot, she wanted fountain photos. I always tell my seniors, there is no graceful way to get up there (and that is why they should wear sliders under skirts 😉 ). Well, Nikki was the FIRST one ever to get up there gracefully! One shot and done! Usually takes several tries, and sometimes mom will need to get in there and help boost. She caught me totally off guard when she did it on the first try, and did it gracefully! She made up for it though, and did the most un-graceful dismount getting down. She and her mom were cracking up at that one!
Here are a few sneak peeks from her shoot:
The next senior up for the class of 2019 is Megan! She is so sweet, and beautiful, and we had such a great time. Megan wanted to pick a location that I don’t go to very often. She wanted to go downtown Orlando for her shoot! Happy to do it! I’ve got some favorite little spots to go when photographing downtown (all safe spots to go!). We started bright and early, so we wouldn’t get too hot (I always like to start early in the summer). And she brought her mom along to be her assistant ;). Personally, I love it when the moms come with. It is just as fun for mom to be there and watch, as it is for the senior actually having her shoot! (As long as they get along and don’t make each other crazy!). If mom isn’t able to come, I encourage my seniors to bring a sister or a friend with them. Makes them more relaxed and more comfortable in front of the camera.
Here are a few sneak peeks from Megan’s downtown session:
Announcing the annual senior sale! Now, in the past, this sale was only 2 days long. This year, I’m changing things up a little, and making things a little less stressful. This year, the senior sale is going to run from May 12 – May 30. This is the ONE sale that I run all year, so you don’t want to miss out! This year, the earlier in the summer that you have your shoot, the more you will save! Don’t worry, all of my summer shoots are held early morning, so it won’t be too hot or sweaty for our shoot 😉 Summer really is the best time of year to do these shoots. Once school starts, there are just so much many things scheduled, and we can only shoot on the weekends. It is really best to get these done early and enjoy a fun session to kick off your senior year!
-Book and pay for a shoot to take place in June, and the session fee is only $75 ($125 for deluxe). In addition, you will receive 3 complimentary gift prints with your order (a gift print is your choice of an 8×10 or smaller)!
-Book and pay for a shoot to take place in July, and the session fee is only $100 ($150 for deluxe), and receive 2 complimentary gift prints with your order.
-Book and pay for a shoot to take place in August, and the session fee is only $125 ($200 for deluxe), and receive 1 complimentary gift print with your order.
-Book and pay for a shoot to take place in September, and the session fee is only $150 ($250 for deluxe).
The details – this sale is for senior sessions only. If you call and book your senior photo session during the sale, you will receive a discounted session fee + free gift prints with your order. Session fees must be paid at time of booking, and are non-refundable (in case of weather issues, I will reschedule your date with no additional session fee). All sessions are done on location (of your choice). Regular senior session is one location, Deluxe senior session is two locations (in the same day). I only take one senior client per day, so when that date is filled, it is not available for another client. So, if you know you want JPSearcy to photograph you for your senior photos, you will want to call and pick your date early! Simple as that!
As always. Session fees are for the session time and editing only, and do not include any prints or digital files. Print packages are ordered at our viewing/ordering appointment approximately 3 weeks after our shoot. I have 6 different flexible packages ranging from $240-$1890. Minimum order for regular sessions is $240, for deluxe (2 location) sessions is $500.
*Regular pricing session fee is $200 for a regular senior session, $300 for a deluxe senior session.
Please pass the info on to your parents, so they are kept in the loop, and know all about the sale! And please pass along to all of your friends and classmates, we don’t want anyone to miss out on this. Especially since this sale is not limited per school. Whoever calls to book during the sale, gets the discounted pricing!
Still have questions? Don’t hesitate to reach out to me and ask! Otherwise, I look forward to booking your summer session very soon. We will have fun at our shoot AND get beautiful photos to mark this important milestone in your life!
Almost done with the class of 2018, but not quite yet! I had a great time meeting Jacob and his mom for his senior session at Kraft Azalea. Our first scheduled shoot date got rained out, but this day was pretty darn close to perfect weather! If it looks like it is going to rain, or if it looks like it won’t be great out for photos, I am happy to reschedule. I rather have a day that I know you are going to love! We had a good day to shoot, and a very nice guy to photograph! In addition to the regular photos, Jacob also wanted to get some photos with the jeep that he and his dad rebuilt. I love it when the seniors want to incorporate something special to them!
Here are a few sneak peeks from his shoot:
It is that time of year again! Time to start working on the graduation announcements. If you had a shoot with me this year, you probably saw the graduation announcements that I offer. I told you that I don’t take orders for them until after January, remember? Well, it’s time! Don’t worry, this design appointment won’t take nearly as long as your first viewing/ordering appointment. You have already seen your photos, you know which are your favs, so this next part is pretty quick and painless. In the past, they have taken about 15 minutes. If you are interested in making an announcement appointment, send me a quick email letting me know when is best for you to come by.
If you have NOT had a shoot with me yet, it isn’t too late! We still have time to have a great session, get beautiful portraits, and get your custom graduation announcements back. All before graduation! While it isn’t too late now, it will be too late soon. So you don’t want to wait too much longer to get on my calendar. This last semester flies by, and towards the end of the semester, you and your family will be busy with graduation plans and parties. Trust me! If you would like to talk to me about a shoot, please email me ~ email@example.com or call/text me 407-977-6296.
This isn’t a typical sneak peek post, sorry about that! This is more of a “what’s up and coming” info post!
So, if you have been following me for a while, you know that every year applications go up to select my next class of senior reps. I have LOVED each and every one of my reps. I love working with them all year, and I love keeping in touch with them after graduation. They have been a great resource in helping me spread the word to their friends about JPSearcy. But it seems like lots of other photographers have started using reps as well. So, I guess it is time to shake things up a bit! I don’t like doing what everyone else is doing ;).
I am working on a plan to put the focus completely on the senior, and giving them a unique, one-of-a-kind experience. This will be open to all upcoming seniors (class of 2019), and I won’t be limiting how many from each school. No applications or anything like that. Just giving everyone the opportunity for the Model Experience! It will include multiple sessions through out the year. Of course, I will still offer beautiful photos as a part of regular senior sessions. This is just something a bit more! I’m still finalizing the details, and will be sending it all out to whoever is interested. Do you want to be a part of the very first JPSearcy Model Experience team? Just take a second and fill out the short form with your contact info, and you will be the first one to hear the details! And feel free to pass it along to your friends who would totally be up for an over-the-top senior model experience!
Next senior up on the blog is Julia! We had a great time at her deluxe (two location) session at Rollins and Kraft Azalea. Joining her was her mom, AND her pup! I love when seniors bring their puppies with them. As long as someone is there to take care of the dog, and you understand that dogs can be worse to pose than toddlers! Haha! Dad was able to swing by and pick up the pup and then the focus could go back to Julia 😉 She is gorgeous, and a total sweetheart. Not to mention, a natural in front of the camera. All made for a great shoot!
Here are a couple of sneak peeks from each of our locations:
Next senior up on the blog is Allie! Allie, her mom, and I had a great time on our shoot on Park Ave in Winter Park. She was so sweet, and such a natural in front of the camera. We explored all around Park Ave, and ended our session at her old school, St Margaret Mary. Had to get a few shots there, of course 😉
If you haven’t gotten your (non-yearbook) senior photos taken yet, whatcha waiting for?! Limited fall dates remain, so call or message me to get on my calendar. I’d love to talk about what you want out of your senior photo session!
Back to Allie now! Here are a few sneak peeks from her session:
