Next senior up on the blog is beautiful Allie! Her family is another one that I have worked with in the past, for both her big sister’s senior photos AND for family photos. So, I already knew we would have a great session ;). Allie started off the shoot with a good attitude, but said she was just doing this for her mom. However, after we got started, she started having fun! And she should, because she was so photogenic, and had such a gorgeous serious face!
Here are some of her sneak peeks:
Next senior up on the blog is AJ! I had such a great time meeting and photographing him at Rollins. I photographed his sister a few years ago, so I was excited when his mom called to set up AJ’s shoot. (I love it when families are so happy with their experience, they come back to me!). Typically when moms book their guys for their senior session, they (the guys) want me to just get this over with as quick and painlessly as possible. But then they realize it isn’t nearly as bad as getting their yearbook photos, and they relax and even have a little fun. AJ was so great, and just wanted to have good photos, so I didn’t need to rush at all.

Next senior up on the blog is the gorgeous Francesca! We had such a great time on our shoot at Rollins and Dickson Azalea. Those two locations give a nice variety of backgrounds for us to work with. She was such a natural in front of the camera, makes my job easy! She seemed to have both the smiles AND serious faces nailed (which isn’t easy to do, especially in summer heat!).
Here are some sneak peeks from our shoot:
Next senior up on the blog, is the beautiful Abby! Abby had a deluxe (two location) session. Since she is on the water polo team, she wanted the pool as one of her locations. I love being able to go to different places! The second location she chose was Casa Feliz. This is one of my favorite places, because it was one of my very first locations that I started shooting at over 10 years ago. The one tricky part about Casa, is that I prefer to shoot it in the afternoon. Afternoon in the summer is tough. Not only is it really hot out, it is also a good chance that it will be raining. (And I have to book it in advance). So, basically all the stars need to be aligned! This afternoon was no exception. It was rainy all afternoon, but we kept in touch and when it looked like there was going to be a break in the rain, we headed over. The rain gods smiled on us, and held off for us to do our shoot. So glad that we could have a good day to have this sweet girl’s shoot!
Here are some sneak peeks from our session:
Next senior up on the blog, is the beautiful Kaila! I had such a great time with Kaila, her mom, and her friends who came along. Kaila is a super sweet girl, who was full of smiles and up for anything (including getting crashed by waves). She and her mom wanted a location with water, so what better place than the beach?! Beach equals really early morning, but it is always worth it. I’ve never had a “bad morning” at the beach. Sure it is early, but you can always take a nap when you get back home ;).

Back from my relaxing vacation, and now it is time to get back to some fun senior sessions! Next senior up is the beautiful Maura! Her entourage included mom, younger sister, and friend (who was a past JPSearcy senior too!). She chose Rollins as her location. We had a lot of laughs at our shoot. Maura is a funny, lighthearted girl. She didn’t even mind when her mom suggested her doing something different, like running thru the sprinklers. I can honestly say, I have never had a senior want to run in the sprinklers before! So when we were done, she happily ran and leaped in the water. We ended up only having about 2 minutes and then the sprinklers turned off. Did get a couple of really cute shots in that short time though!
Here are some sneak peeks from our shoot:
Next senior up on the blog is the beautiful Haley! She brought mom and a good friend along with her to play the role of assistant/guest snap chatter for the day ;). She is such a sweet girl who had really been looking forward to her shoot! We had so much fun! The two locations that she chose were Park Ave and Dickson Azalea. Two great locations. Haley learned quickly that it is tough work being a gorgeous model! The getting up before dawn/squatting/posing/outfit changing/smiling even though you are getting hot, can really be tough! She was a trooper though, and looked beautiful the whole way thru the shoot. I can’t wait for her to see all of the photos, but for now, just a little sneak peek!
Here are a few shots from our shoot:
Next senior up on the blog is the beautiful Nikki! I had so much fun photographing and getting to know Nikki a little better. We had a lot of laughs at both of her locations – Park Ave and Rollins. In fact, it was difficult for her to have any serious looks because of all of the laughs. I love that she was able to relax and have fun on her shoot. At the end of the shoot, she wanted fountain photos. I always tell my seniors, there is no graceful way to get up there (and that is why they should wear sliders under skirts 😉 ). Well, Nikki was the FIRST one ever to get up there gracefully! One shot and done! Usually takes several tries, and sometimes mom will need to get in there and help boost. She caught me totally off guard when she did it on the first try, and did it gracefully! She made up for it though, and did the most un-graceful dismount getting down. She and her mom were cracking up at that one!
Here are a few sneak peeks from her shoot:
The next senior up for the class of 2019 is Megan! She is so sweet, and beautiful, and we had such a great time. Megan wanted to pick a location that I don’t go to very often. She wanted to go downtown Orlando for her shoot! Happy to do it! I’ve got some favorite little spots to go when photographing downtown (all safe spots to go!). We started bright and early, so we wouldn’t get too hot (I always like to start early in the summer). And she brought her mom along to be her assistant ;). Personally, I love it when the moms come with. It is just as fun for mom to be there and watch, as it is for the senior actually having her shoot! (As long as they get along and don’t make each other crazy!). If mom isn’t able to come, I encourage my seniors to bring a sister or a friend with them. Makes them more relaxed and more comfortable in front of the camera.

Announcing the annual senior sale! Now, in the past, this sale was only 2 days long. This year, I’m changing things up a little, and making things a little less stressful. This year, the senior sale is going to run from May 12 – May 30. This is the ONE sale that I run all year, so you don’t want to miss out! This year, the earlier in the summer that you have your shoot, the more you will save! Don’t worry, all of my summer shoots are held early morning, so it won’t be too hot or sweaty for our shoot 😉 Summer really is the best time of year to do these shoots. Once school starts, there are just so much many things scheduled, and we can only shoot on the weekends. It is really best to get these done early and enjoy a fun session to kick off your senior year!
