Oh, I had so much fun with this family! I have been photographing both of their girls all year (so they may look familiar, and keep an eye out in another day or two for more of their sneak peeks coming out!). So, it was so nice to photograph the whole family at their home. We don’t always have to go to a park or a popular location. If you want photos at home, or another place that is special to you and your family, then let’s have our session there! Their beautiful home provided plenty of nice backdrops for us to use. Grandma and Grandpa joined in on the shoot too, which I love! They are all such a wonderful family, and I love that they trust me to capture all of these special times for them.
Here are a few sneak peeks from our shoot:
I love this family. I have been working with them for a few years now. Starting with senior photos, and then another round of senior photos (as a rep this time), and now finally family photos! And now that I have had the pleasure of meeting Grandma too, I can see where all of these ladies get their beauty from (and maybe even a little of their sass). Dad definitely has his hands full with this group! 😉
Here are some sneak peeks from their shoot:
This weekend I had the pleasure of photographing a couple of my past seniors with their family. I just love it when past clients come back for more photos. They took advantage of having the entire family in town for Thanksgiving, to get some beautiful family photos taken at the beach. One thing we didn’t plan on was the freezing weather! Brrrrr! It was such a cold sunrise for their family shoot this weekend! They were troopers though, and the end result, is beautiful (and you can’t tell how cold they all were 😉 ).
Here are a few sneak peeks from their sunrise session:
I was so happy to be able to do this family session. The timing was perfect, because everyone was in town for the holidays. But they haven’t done a family photo since the kids were babies. So, it was definitely time ;). The little guy found me very interesting (not funny, mind you). But keeping true to that age, he had a very short attention span and then wanted to go explore the park. So, we got his part done early, so he could play, and momma could get the photos with her girls like she really wanted. Beautiful family, and I am so excited for Mom to see them! Here are a few sneak peeks from their session:
HAPPY NEW YEAR, first and foremost! I am looking forward to meeting my new clients AND seeing those who come back to see me for another session! That was what happened for this session. She was a senior of mine 4 years ago, and now she is a senior at University of Florida. I was so excited when she called me to set up another session! And even though both her and her brother are Gators, I won’t hold that against them, they are still fabulous people ;). We had a great time, and I loved that they were so willing to take time out of their holiday break to do these photos for their parents. I know their parents will LOVE them! We got lots of great photos of the two of them together, but also some updated photos of them alone. Here are a few sneak peeks from their session:
Yep, you read that right! Since my 2 day sales for seniors seem to be such a hit, I thought I would try one for families this year. For those of you who don’t know about the 2 day sale, I will give you ALL the info you could ever want and need.
This is my ONLY sale I offer for families. And the details are pretty simple. Call during the 2 day sale, book your session for anytime on or BEFORE December 1st (session dates just need to be booked during the sale, not held during the sale!), pay the reduced session fee at time of booking, and you are set!
Step 1 – Look at the website (to make sure I am the type of photographer you want for your family photos!) http://www.jpsearcyphotography.com
Step 2 – Call during the sale dates – tell me how you heard of me and/or the sale (whether it was thru one of my reps, or me, or blog, or facebook ads, or whatever!), what date you would like for your session, and where you want to have your session
Step 3 – Pay for the session fee with credit card over the phone, and receive your confirmation email
Step 4 – Start planning what you are going to wear for your photo shoot! (Fun stuff now!)
(Going into further details) You call me at 407-977-6296 between the hours of 9am-9pm on Wednesday July 25th (which also happens to be my birthday!) or Thursday July 26th. (If you get voicemail, it just means I am taking another call, so PLEASE bear with me and leave a message with your name and phone number, and I will call you back as soon as I am off the call!). You will want to have the date that you want your session (with one as a back up date, in case your date has already been selected and I just didn’t get to take it off the calendar yet). My available session dates can be found http://www.localendar.com/public/jpsearcyphotography. It is helpful if you know where you want to have your session (but it isn’t mandatory, we can talk about it and figure it out later if need be). If you want to see photo samples of my most popular locations, look at my website http://www.jpsearcyseniors.com (these will be senior photos, but the way I have my senior site set up, is each gallery is a different location). On the main portfolio page, you will see separate albums for each of the locations. After our call, I will email you a confirmation email with the session information! You MUST pay the session fee online when you are calling to book in order to get this sale price. This is non-refundable (in case of bad weather or illness, you can transfer the session fee to another available date, no worries!), so make sure you really want to have your session with me before calling! That is it!
I know it may seem early to be thinking about holiday photos, but really it isn’t! You can pick your date for any time before December, and you will have beautiful family photos to send out cards with, and to give to family as gifts.
The “fine” print – session fees need to be paid at time of booking; session dates must be held on or before December 1, 2012; session fees are non-refundable (but can be used for a different date incase of illness or bad weather); can only be used towards a family session (which can be the whole family, just siblings, or little kids. No senior sessions this time, sorry! Families with high school seniors is fine, just not a “senior session”.); family sessions are up to 5 people – each additional person is $15 (usually each additional person is $25). And that is all the fine print I can think of! If you have ANY questions, please email me at jps@jpsearcyphotography!
This time of year, I get lots of families wanting to get photos to give as gifts. I mean, what a fantastic idea, right?! But sometimes it doesn’t work out for one reason or another. Well, THIS family was determined to make it happen, even if their photos wouldn’t be back BEFORE Christmas! This was a time that all of the grandkids could be together, so that is when it was done! At least grandma will have a very nice new years gift coming to her! She has a fantastic bunch of grandkids, who were a lot of fun to photograph. Yes, they got a little silly by the end (and yes, that will make a sneak peek too), but that makes it all the more fun.
Merry Christmas Grandma! Hope you love your grandkid photos!
I love when extended families are all together and think to have photos taken. Some families are lucky enough to have everyone close by, but others, they are only here for visits. Regardless, it is so much fun to get everyone together and get some great photos! Yes, it is a pain to coordinate everyone and get everyone on board for the session, but they are priceless to look back on. Everyone all together! So, I encourage you, where ever you are, if you are getting your entire family together, look for a photographer and have that time captured!
I had the pleasure to photograph a very large family in Winter Park last week. Some of them were local, some were from out of town. But all of them were fabulous! It was difficult picking sneak peeks for them, because I wanted each of the families to have at least one sneak! Thanks for including me in your day!
