A new program for seniors that I introduced this year, was called the “Model Experience”. This was to take the place of my reps. Now, I loved having reps, mostly because I got to work with them their entire senior year. They had the opportunity to earn bonus photo shoots. Well, the NEW program, was you pay for whichever level of “Model Experience” you wanted (based on how many bonus shoots you wanted). Everyone has a main shoot in the summer, and then the bonus shoots are during the fall/winter. They can have one bonus shoot or two bonus shoots. And what the bonus shoots are, is completely up to them! I ask what they want to do, and we go do it! Most of the bonus shoots will be with one or two other models, and that just adds to the fun. So far, the program is working great, so I do expect to do it again for the class of 2020, so stay tuned, if this sounds like something you (or your senior) would want to do next year! Sign ups will be in the next couple of months!
The next bonus shoot we did was out at Magic Kingdom! I have two girls who are in the model program this year, that are Disney fanatics! So, why not try a shoot at Disney?! Unfortunately, the schedules wouldn’t align for them to both go the same day. So, no problem, we will go two different days! Faith brought her sister along (who is a past senior client of mine AND a future WEDDING client of mine too!). We had so much fun playing around in the park. They even got me on the teacups (NOT my favorite ride, because it makes me sick). But anything they want, and anything for a fun photo! Here are a couple of sneak peeks of my model Faith (and a bonus one with her and her sister):
The next family sneak peek up on the blog is a very special one. I have been friends with this couple before they were married. They have since moved away to TN, and have adopted 3 children! The baby is the newest to the family, so they wanted to celebrate her adoption, and come to Disney! This was kind of a last minute idea on mom’s part, but I think she was able to pull it all off pretty well! Being that she hasn’t had a toddler for a photoshoot before, she was a bit surprised. I’ve photographed many toddlers, so I knew that they aren’t all about sitting nicely and smiling for the camera. Once they can walk/run, they are out of there! So most of the shoot is just me following them around capturing them in their natural way, and throwing family in around them, whenever possible (and shoot very quickly 😉 ). I think I was able to get some adorable shots of her alone, her with her brothers, and the entire family. Love them!

I was looking forward to this shoot! I first met Emily years ago. So many years ago, it was back when she was in my son’s class in early elementary school. When she contacted me to book her senior session, I was so excited! I have seen her a little bit off an on between now and then, but it was neat to have her in front of my lens for her senior year. She is such a gorgeous girl! She wanted to have her shoot at Disney, so she chose the Port Orleans Resort. Disney has some of the best resorts! Lots of photo options there. And she brought a couple of friends with her for support (and to carry all of her stuff for her 😉 ). I think we all had a good time!

I love when I am asked to do a session in a new place. Never know what you are going to get! This session with Maddie was fantastic, not only because she is a great girl, but because we got to shoot at a new location. We went out to Disney, and shot at the Coronado Springs Resort. This is a place that her family enjoys going to, so it was a place that would be perfect for her senior photos! And while it WAS pretty hot out, there were lots and lots of different places we could take photographs. We went from fountains to the desert to the beach, all in one location! So much fun!
