I love this next family up for sneak peeks! (Some of my seniors may recognize the mom, she is one of my fabulous make up artists.) This family is so gorgeous and so much fun to shoot. First of all, don’t they look like they are straight out of a magazine? Their outfits never disappoint! The kiddos are growing up and every time, just more and more fun to photograph. The little boy started making their weird face when I would click the shutter. I asked him what the face?! It was his emoji face! It was so funny, I wanted to share that as one of their sneak peeks. The little girl is so beautiful, and loves being in front of the camera. She was even talking about her senior photo session (she is in 5th grade, btw)! Love this family!
Here are just a few sneak peeks to hold them over until the rest are ready!
This isn’t a typical sneak peek post, sorry about that! This is more of a “what’s up and coming” info post!
So, if you have been following me for a while, you know that every year applications go up to select my next class of senior reps. I have LOVED each and every one of my reps. I love working with them all year, and I love keeping in touch with them after graduation. They have been a great resource in helping me spread the word to their friends about JPSearcy. But it seems like lots of other photographers have started using reps as well. So, I guess it is time to shake things up a bit! I don’t like doing what everyone else is doing ;).
I am working on a plan to put the focus completely on the senior, and giving them a unique, one-of-a-kind experience. This will be open to all upcoming seniors (class of 2019), and I won’t be limiting how many from each school. No applications or anything like that. Just giving everyone the opportunity for the Model Experience! It will include multiple sessions through out the year. Of course, I will still offer beautiful photos as a part of regular senior sessions. This is just something a bit more! I’m still finalizing the details, and will be sending it all out to whoever is interested. Do you want to be a part of the very first JPSearcy Model Experience team? Just take a second and fill out the short form with your contact info, and you will be the first one to hear the details! And feel free to pass it along to your friends who would totally be up for an over-the-top senior model experience!
Next senior up on the blog is Julia! We had a great time at her deluxe (two location) session at Rollins and Kraft Azalea. Joining her was her mom, AND her pup! I love when seniors bring their puppies with them. As long as someone is there to take care of the dog, and you understand that dogs can be worse to pose than toddlers! Haha! Dad was able to swing by and pick up the pup and then the focus could go back to Julia 😉 She is gorgeous, and a total sweetheart. Not to mention, a natural in front of the camera. All made for a great shoot!
Here are a couple of sneak peeks from each of our locations:
The next session up on the blog is a two-fer! I met this sweet set of twins years ago, when their mom booked a family session. I think they were in 5th grade at the time. I was so honored that they wanted to come back to me this many years later for their senior photos! Now getting to this day was challenging. We had a couple of different reschedules due to our lovely hurricane season. But then the waiting paid off. We had an absolutely beautiful morning to shoot at the beach. Yes, it is a pain to wake up so early to get ready and all the way out to the beach before sunrise, but then you get a gorgeous morning, and it all is worth it! As a nice bonus, the waves were really kicking. So Sloan got the crashing waves photos she wanted.
Now, as a notice to other seniors (class of 2018), if you are wanting senior photos done that are more YOU, and you aren’t on my calendar yet, NOW is the time! Most seniors have their senior photos done before the end of the calendar year. The reason is, the last half of the school year is crazy busy and it just flies by. Before you know it, you are planning prom and grad parties, and you still haven’t had your portraits done yet! I actually start NEXT year’s class in a couple of months. Now don’t worry, I can still get you in, but I do need to get you on the schedule soon! Email me, text me, call me, whatever. Let’s start talking about YOUR senior photos!
Now, back to the twins! Here are a few sneak peeks from our shoot:
The next family sneak peek up on the blog is a very special one. I have been friends with this couple before they were married. They have since moved away to TN, and have adopted 3 children! The baby is the newest to the family, so they wanted to celebrate her adoption, and come to Disney! This was kind of a last minute idea on mom’s part, but I think she was able to pull it all off pretty well! Being that she hasn’t had a toddler for a photoshoot before, she was a bit surprised. I’ve photographed many toddlers, so I knew that they aren’t all about sitting nicely and smiling for the camera. Once they can walk/run, they are out of there! So most of the shoot is just me following them around capturing them in their natural way, and throwing family in around them, whenever possible (and shoot very quickly 😉 ). I think I was able to get some adorable shots of her alone, her with her brothers, and the entire family. Love them!
Here are their sneak peeks from the shoot at the Disney Resort:
Next senior up on the blog is the beautiful Lily! We had such a great time on her shoot at Rollins with Lily, her mom, her sister, and her friend. With that many girls at a shoot, we are bound to have a lot of fun! Our fun started bright and early when the entire entourage came over to my house to meet up with one of the make up artists I work with. After she was all glammed up, we hit the road and drove to Winter Park to do our shoot at Rollins College. Still my most requested location! And it is for good reason. It is a beautiful location!
Here are a few sneak peeks from our shoot:
Next senior up on the blog, is the beautiful Carolina! We had a great shoot out on Park Ave in Winter Park with her, her mom, and her sister. The tables had turned! Carolina joined her older sisters her “assistant” on her senior shoot with me a couple years ago, and now it was her turn! She is such a sweetheart, and such a natural in front of the camera. Made for a great shoot!
Here are a few sneak peeks from Carolina’s session:
Next senior up on the blog is Allie! Allie, her mom, and I had a great time on our shoot on Park Ave in Winter Park. She was so sweet, and such a natural in front of the camera. We explored all around Park Ave, and ended our session at her old school, St Margaret Mary. Had to get a few shots there, of course 😉
If you haven’t gotten your (non-yearbook) senior photos taken yet, whatcha waiting for?! Limited fall dates remain, so call or message me to get on my calendar. I’d love to talk about what you want out of your senior photo session!
Back to Allie now! Here are a few sneak peeks from her session:
Next senior up on the blog is Joshua! He, like most of the senior guys I photograph, wasn’t exactly thrilled about having a shoot. But he was a great sport, and I think, ended up having a good time! His mom and girlfriend came with him to help out. Girlfriends are always invited to come along with the guys for their shoot. No one can get smiles out of the guys like their girlfriends ;). I know that the guys will be happy they have these photographs (the moms sure will be!) Our shoot was at Kraft Azalea in Winter Park. I’m happy to report, it did just fine in the storm. Yes, there were a few downed trees, but nothing I couldn’t work with. In fact, we used on of those downed trees in the shoot!
If you haven’t gotten your senior photos (non-yearbook ones, I mean), I am almost booked for the rest of the fall! So, even if you don’t know the exact details, call or email me to at least lock down your date.
Now onto sneak peeks!
It isn’t often that I get called for a newborn session, but boy do I love them when I do! This sweet little girl was no exception. So gorgeous, so sweet, and so brand new! For newborn sessions, it is best to get them to me before they turn 2 weeks old. Typically then they are still pretty sleepy. This little girl was supposed to be sleepy, but she showed who was in charge. She wanted to be awake and see everything going on! That’s ok, I’m patient, I’ll wait. So, we got some awake photos, and some sweet sleepy photos. All in all, it was a great shoot!
