I’m not quite done with the class of 2018! Next senior up on the blog, is the beautiful Cassidy! She is super sweet, and I had a great time on her deluxe shoot with her and her mom. The two locations Cassidy chose were two of my most popular locations ~ Park Ave and Rollins. We were lucky with a very nice morning to shoot! Temperature was perfect, not too hot, not too cold, and overcast skies. Can’t ask for much more than that!
Here are a few sneak peeks from Cassidy’s shoot:
If you are in the class of 2018, and haven’t gotten senior photos that you love yet, why not give me a call?! I am still booking for current seniors, but I do want to warn you. There isn’t very much time left! The second semester of the senior year flies by, and graduation will be here before you know it. THANKS!!
It is that time of year again! Time to start working on the graduation announcements. If you had a shoot with me this year, you probably saw the graduation announcements that I offer. I told you that I don’t take orders for them until after January, remember? Well, it’s time! Don’t worry, this design appointment won’t take nearly as long as your first viewing/ordering appointment. You have already seen your photos, you know which are your favs, so this next part is pretty quick and painless. In the past, they have taken about 15 minutes. If you are interested in making an announcement appointment, send me a quick email letting me know when is best for you to come by.
If you have NOT had a shoot with me yet, it isn’t too late! We still have time to have a great session, get beautiful portraits, and get your custom graduation announcements back. All before graduation! While it isn’t too late now, it will be too late soon. So you don’t want to wait too much longer to get on my calendar. This last semester flies by, and towards the end of the semester, you and your family will be busy with graduation plans and parties. Trust me! If you would like to talk to me about a shoot, please email me ~ email@example.com or call/text me 407-977-6296.
I’ve had some questions and confusion about next year’s plans (for the class of 2019), so I wanted to do a little post to better explain and clarify a little!
No, I am NOT doing reps next year. I know, I’ve been doing them for the past 8 or 9 years, so this is a big change! But all that means, is no one is working to get referrals and earn extra shoots! Every one can focus on THEIR own session, and making the most of it. I am starting a new program, for those seniors who want to have more than one shoot with me. That is the model program. It is a brand new program that I came up with, that I think could be a lot of fun! If you would like to participate in the model program, you would pay one session fee and it would cover the main shoot in the summer + several bonus shoots throughout their senior year (including a beach shoot, night time shoot, destination shoot in Miami, and a family shoot). How many bonus shoots is up to you! I have three different options available. Of course, I throw in a few little perks to those that are in the model program 😉 If making your senior photo experience last all year is something you (or your senior) would be interested in, please contact me, and I’ll give you all of the details!
If one session is enough, then that is great too! Of course I will still be taking regular clients. You do NOT have to be a part of the model program to have your session with me! You will still be able to pick one or two locations (on the same day), and have a wonderful time and get lots of gorgeous photos! I will start booking in May for the class of 2019. Most seniors DO get their senior photos taken during the summer before their senior year! The reasons for this is simply, you have the most time in the summer! We can shoot 7 days a week, and we don’t need to work around school schedules. I know everyone is worried about the heat, but let me put your mind at ease! We shoot early mornings only in the summer. We are done before it gets too hot (and starts the afternoon thunderstorms!). You will want to book your senior photo session as soon as the calendar opens up, just so you have the best choice in dates!
Hopefully that clears things about about model vs rep vs client! If not, please do reach out to me! I’m happy to talk to you further about any questions you may have!
Next senior up on the blog is JJ! Nope, not done with seniors yet! Time is winding down for the class of 2018, so if you are still needing senior photos, you will want to get on my calendar soon. But back to THIS session ~ it was JJ and his mom at Rollins. We had such a good time, and he is such a great guy! His mom would do anything to get a good, natural smile out of him. So basically, I was entertained as well. Haha! He was a great sport, and I kept my promise of keeping his shoot under an hour. With guys, I work faster. Girls? They tend to want me to drag it out longer 😉
Here are a few sneak peeks from his shoot:
This isn’t a typical sneak peek post, sorry about that! This is more of a “what’s up and coming” info post!
So, if you have been following me for a while, you know that every year applications go up to select my next class of senior reps. I have LOVED each and every one of my reps. I love working with them all year, and I love keeping in touch with them after graduation. They have been a great resource in helping me spread the word to their friends about JPSearcy. But it seems like lots of other photographers have started using reps as well. So, I guess it is time to shake things up a bit! I don’t like doing what everyone else is doing ;).
I am working on a plan to put the focus completely on the senior, and giving them a unique, one-of-a-kind experience. This will be open to all upcoming seniors (class of 2019), and I won’t be limiting how many from each school. No applications or anything like that. Just giving everyone the opportunity for the Model Experience! It will include multiple sessions through out the year. Of course, I will still offer beautiful photos as a part of regular senior sessions. This is just something a bit more! I’m still finalizing the details, and will be sending it all out to whoever is interested. Do you want to be a part of the very first JPSearcy Model Experience team? Just take a second and fill out the short form with your contact info, and you will be the first one to hear the details! And feel free to pass it along to your friends who would totally be up for an over-the-top senior model experience!
Next senior up on the blog is Julia! We had a great time at her deluxe (two location) session at Rollins and Kraft Azalea. Joining her was her mom, AND her pup! I love when seniors bring their puppies with them. As long as someone is there to take care of the dog, and you understand that dogs can be worse to pose than toddlers! Haha! Dad was able to swing by and pick up the pup and then the focus could go back to Julia 😉 She is gorgeous, and a total sweetheart. Not to mention, a natural in front of the camera. All made for a great shoot!
Here are a couple of sneak peeks from each of our locations:
The next session up on the blog is a two-fer! I met this sweet set of twins years ago, when their mom booked a family session. I think they were in 5th grade at the time. I was so honored that they wanted to come back to me this many years later for their senior photos! Now getting to this day was challenging. We had a couple of different reschedules due to our lovely hurricane season. But then the waiting paid off. We had an absolutely beautiful morning to shoot at the beach. Yes, it is a pain to wake up so early to get ready and all the way out to the beach before sunrise, but then you get a gorgeous morning, and it all is worth it! As a nice bonus, the waves were really kicking. So Sloan got the crashing waves photos she wanted.
Now, as a notice to other seniors (class of 2018), if you are wanting senior photos done that are more YOU, and you aren’t on my calendar yet, NOW is the time! Most seniors have their senior photos done before the end of the calendar year. The reason is, the last half of the school year is crazy busy and it just flies by. Before you know it, you are planning prom and grad parties, and you still haven’t had your portraits done yet! I actually start NEXT year’s class in a couple of months. Now don’t worry, I can still get you in, but I do need to get you on the schedule soon! Email me, text me, call me, whatever. Let’s start talking about YOUR senior photos!
Now, back to the twins! Here are a few sneak peeks from our shoot:
Next senior up on the blog is the beautiful Lily! We had such a great time on her shoot at Rollins with Lily, her mom, her sister, and her friend. With that many girls at a shoot, we are bound to have a lot of fun! Our fun started bright and early when the entire entourage came over to my house to meet up with one of the make up artists I work with. After she was all glammed up, we hit the road and drove to Winter Park to do our shoot at Rollins College. Still my most requested location! And it is for good reason. It is a beautiful location!
Here are a few sneak peeks from our shoot:
Next senior up on the blog, is the beautiful Carolina! We had a great shoot out on Park Ave in Winter Park with her, her mom, and her sister. The tables had turned! Carolina joined her older sisters her “assistant” on her senior shoot with me a couple years ago, and now it was her turn! She is such a sweetheart, and such a natural in front of the camera. Made for a great shoot!
Here are a few sneak peeks from Carolina’s session:
Next senior up on the blog is Allie! Allie, her mom, and I had a great time on our shoot on Park Ave in Winter Park. She was so sweet, and such a natural in front of the camera. We explored all around Park Ave, and ended our session at her old school, St Margaret Mary. Had to get a few shots there, of course 😉
If you haven’t gotten your (non-yearbook) senior photos taken yet, whatcha waiting for?! Limited fall dates remain, so call or message me to get on my calendar. I’d love to talk about what you want out of your senior photo session!
Back to Allie now! Here are a few sneak peeks from her session:
