For a change of pace for a day, I had a different kind of shoot.  I was called by a previous client to do a lifestyle type shoot for her new business and website.  She is in the process of building her website, but for now, you can find her on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/Renee-Matthews-MS-RDN-Nutritionist-1130178420327717/.  Go and “like” her page, and learn something new!  We did the shoot in her kitchen (and I got a bonus ~ she made me a delicious green smoothie!).

Here are a few sneak peeks from our shoot:

I know, this isn’t nearly as much fun to do as having a full session.  But it is necessary!  How old is the photo that you are using now for your business?  If you had to stop and think about it, it is probably time for a new one.  I make this quick and painless for you.  I can come to your office with my lights and backdrops, and it will take no time at all.  Then you will have 3 edited images that you can use for your advertising, websites, or social media.  Make a good first impression with a quality headshot!  If you are interested in booking one, please contact me at jps@jpsearcyphotography.com to set up a time.

A little known product that I offer is business headshots.  This can be for a single person who wants to update their headshot, like someone who is self-employeed, OR I can do the entire office!  How it works, is (if it is for one person) you come by for the quick session.  More often, I go to your office, set up the backdrop and then each person comes in and has them taken.  Kind of like school picture day (but I’m more personable 😉 ).  Usually, each person only takes a few minutes, so it isn’t too much time out of their work day.  And then what you get afterwards, is the digital file and release to use them for your own professional use.  That could be in ads, on business cards, or on your website.  I make it as painless as possible!  If you are interested in updating your headshots, or your department’s , or for your entire office, let me know.  I’d love to hear about what you want and need!

My most recent headshot session was with the best hairdresser in the area, Kim Kubo (with Xander Blue Salon).  I use her myself, so I can speak on how amazing she is!  Highly recommend.

Every year, I get calls asking about cap and gown photos.  They don’t necessarily want a whole session, but want a couple of nice portraits in their cap and gown.  This year, I am getting a jump start on them, and getting the package info out a week before the cap and gowns are even distributed, that is why I am using a sample from 2013!  (How’s that for being on top of things 😉 ).  I will run these studio sessions just like I did last year.

Choose your cap and gown package (all packages are the same cost, just depends on what you like best!): $125 + 6% FL sales tax.  All ordering is done online, no need to set up an in-person ordering appointment.

Package #1

Includes session fee, editing, and (1) 12×12 graduation “faces” collage:

Package #2:

Includes session fee, editing, and (1) 10×20 storyboard:

Package #3:

Includes session fee, editing, and (3) 5×7 OR (24) wallets (can mix and match poses, like always!):

Package #4:

Includes session fee, editing, and (1) digital image with printing release

*And as a special thank you to my fabulous clients this year, if you had a full session with me  (either regular or deluxe) for your senior photos, any of the above packages will be only $100 (+6% FL sales tax)!*

Sessions will take place in the next month, so you will have them back before graduation.  That way you can have them proudly to display on your day of graduation!  These sessions are all “studio shots”, not on-location.  If you are interested, please email me at jps@jpsearcyphotography.com ASAP to book your time (and since they are studio, it is easy to pop in for your quick session anytime of the day.  But it MUST be booked, please don’t stop by unannounced!  Haha!) If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask!

*One more note, of course if you  need or want more than what is included in the package, you can add on to any of them to get exactly what you need.  No obligation to, just want you to know the option is there if you want it!*

I was really looking forward to this session.  Not that I don’t look forward to each and every one of my sessions, but this one was a little extra.  I think it was because the girl who booked the shoot has been SO excited for this shoot, and booked it months ago!  When someone is that excited, it is contagious!  I photographed her younger sister for her senior photos, and now big sister wanted her turn!  She is a senior as well, but a COLLEGE senior!  So, she wanted her senior/graduation photos, but she also wanted photos with her and her long-time boyfriend.  So, it was a little bit of a senior session and a little bit of a couples session.  Too much fun!

Her boyfriend was terrific sport about the shoot.  Typically guys don’t really love getting their photos done.  I think they like having nice photos, but don’t love the process as much as girls do ;).  But her boyfriend was such a great sport, and was genuinely  happy to have the photos done with his love.  <awwwww>  Not only was he happy to do the shoot, he agreed to wardrobe changes too!  Hahaha!  They are a very sweet couple, and it was a really fun to shoot them.

Yes, this girl should look familiar if you follow my blog at all.  Reagan was one of my high school reps this past year.  I guess, she didn’t get enough photos all throughout her senior year, or she just can’t get enough of photo shoot with me!  Either way, I was so happy to have her in front of my lens again.  She is putting together a portfolio, so there were some different kinds of photos that she needed.  We did a two part session like I offer for actors/models who are looking to add to their portfolio.  The first part was out at the beach.  And such a trooper, it was SO cold the day we went out there!  I was comfy in my sweats, but she had to tough it out in a bathing suit looking gorgeous.  The second part was more experimental.  She wanted to try something a little different . . . shadows.  Something that we had both seen on America’s Next Top  Model, haha!  I love how they turned out!  Here are the sneak peeks from her shoot:
