I have a special announcement for my 2011 seniors!  To kick off the senior portrait “season”, I am announcing the one and only sale I will have all year.  My TWO DAY SALE!  The sale will be on Friday, 5/28, and Saturday 5/29.  Nothing before, and nothing after!  This is a sale that will save you a ton off your session fees (and get you on the calendar for your session FIRST!).

This year, I have several different photo session options for seniors:

Mini session $75 – 1 location, 30 minutes, approx 10 proofs (only available on select days (not available for 2 day sale)

Senior session $150 - 1 location, 60-90 minutes, approx 30-35 proofs (2 day sale price $50!)

Deluxe session $225 – 2 locations, 2 – 2 1/2 hours, approx 45-50 proofs (2 day sale price $125!)

OR, you can choose to have a session with friends!  For these, you will still get photos all your own, but in addition, you will also get a couple of fun shots WITH your friends!  These sessions will last a little bit longer than the single sessions, due to more people.  The friend sessions are as follows:

Senior friends session (2-3 people) $125 per person – 1 location, approx 30-35 proofs (each) (2 day sale price $50!)

Senior friends deluxe (2-3 people) $200 per person – 2 locations, approx 45-50 proofs (2 day sale price $125!)

Paparazzi session (4-6 people) $350 per person – This is the ultimate friends photo session, where getting there is half the fun!  We will travel to several different locations in a limo!  You are sure to be mistaken for models while traveling with your personal photographer .  This will be an all day shoot, lasting around 5 hours.  we will have lots of individual shots, and some great opportunnities for fun group shots as well. (2 day sale price $275)  *Paparazzi session has a minimum purchase of a “silver package” for each person*

Now, for the details about the sale!  The pricing is listed above.  All you have to do, is call me (407-977-6296) or e-mail me on Friday or Saturday and book your shoot!  The session can be held anytime during the summer, at any location you choose.  The entire session fee is due at time of booking your date (either by credit card, or mailing a check).  If mailing a check, it must be RECEIVED within 5 days of booking your date, otherwise you forfeit the 2 day sale price.  That is it!

Now, all you have to do, is show all the information to your parents, look over my website to make sure you like my photo style, and then look at the calendar section to get some ideas on available session dates!  Oh, then call or e-mail on Friday or Saturday to book!  Easy enough!  If you have any questions about anything, feel free to e-mail me and ask!  (And you don’t have to wait for the sale date to do that, you can contact me anytime!)

Let’s go class of 2011!

It is time again, for one of my most favorite (and loyal) families!  Like clockwork, they have their kids photos taken every 6 months.  It has been so neat to see how they change every  session.  This session was being done at Leu Gardens.  The little girl was at such a great stage.  She could stand, but not walk on her own (read:she couldn’t run away from me like her big brother could! LOL!).  She is so precious, and her brother is the cutest little stinker around!

By the way, I am often asked, “what is the best age for photographs?”.  The answer is, now!  There isn’t a magical age.  Every single age is special, and remarkable.  Yes, the kids will change.  However, they will never be this young again, and isn’t that great to capture?!  This family here, in this sneak peek, “gets” that.  Not saying that you need have a major session every 6 months, but don’t keep putting it off either.  And it IS nice to have it be a regular thing, wether it be every 6 months, or every year, or every other year.  Make it a priority, and make it happen!

Oh, those beach sessions are SO early in the morning.  And I never sleep very well the night before I sunrise shoot (because I am terrified of sleeping through my alarm!).  All that being said, I LOVE the sunrise beach sessions!  It is such a beautiful and peaceful feeling to be there when the sun comes up (not to mention, the light is amazing that time of morning!).  So, I will continue waking up before anyone should be awake to do these sessions whenever I am asked!

I was so excited to meet this family.  They have been so incredibly patient with me, and my crazy schedule (waiting for my Africa dates).  I am so thankful that they switched their dates so many times for me!  And after all that, I finally met them for their shoot.  They were fantastic!  They were a lot of fun, and kept me laughing.  Mostly because their little guy was being a stinker to get reactions from his sisters!  So for payback, I told them that I would take their photo totally messing with him (he didn’t love that, but the girls found it pretty funny! That is the last photo in the sneak peek).

I always have a good time on my senior shoots.  This time was no different.  She was such a hoot!  She got silly (I think the heat was setting in! LOL!), and kept making goofy faces at me while I was setting up a shot.  I warned her that if she kept making the goofy faces, and making me laugh, it was all fair game for the blog.  You were warned!
