*Sniff* I will miss you!  My sweet little niece has been here for the past 10 days, and it is time for her to go home tomorrow.  It was so nice having her around, and we are all going to miss her.  We are now planning an Atlanta trip for beginning of April, because I know none of us will be able to wait too long!

So, taking interest for a few sessions in Atlanta now!  I will be up there somewhere around April 5th-12th (exact dates not set yet).  If you are interested in booking a session, or know someone who would be, let me know ASAP!

I shoot a lot at Leu Gardens.  It is a beautiful location!  But this location just seemed perfect for my latest senior.  She was looking for photos that were soft and pretty.  And after spending the afternoon with her at her session, that was definitely a perfect fit for her.  Love it when that happens!  Beautiful girl, beautiful gardens, beautiful day!  We had a very nice time, and I am loving how her shots are coming out so far!

Only one thing is bugging me.  I know she looks like someone, but I still can’t place it!  Someone famous.  I saw it when I was shooting, I see it now that I am editing, but I just can’t put my finger on it!  Any help out there?!  Who does she look like?!

Anyway, back to business!  Here is a few sneaks for her!

He was so funny!  I always start the sessions by helping them out with their posing (kinda to get them loosened up a little bit).  And then I like to see what they come up with.  Usually it is pretty good!  But this guy’s poses were very original and made me laugh!  From jumping up in door frames, to jumping INTO fountains, it was a very fun session!

Because I have the most wonderful husband, he has made my day so wonderful today (as he does most days!).  He gave me a surprise day today, when I thought he would be working all day.  He has put me in a very good (and giddy) mood!  Sooooooooooo, I thought I would spread the love!

For any sessions booked today or tomorrow (by the end of the day tomorrow), I will include a special free gift with your portrait order.  It is something that I don’t offer for purchase.  So, what is it?  I’m not telling!  But I PROMISE, it will be something that you will LOVE (and of course, it will have to do with your photos!).  

All you have to do, is e-mail me jps@jpsearcyphotography.com, put VALENTINE’S SPECIAL in the subject line, and tell me when you would like to have your session!  This will be good for sessions held in February and March only.  It can be for a senior session, for a family session, or a kid session.  Whatever you want!  The only catch is that you MUST e-mail me by the end of the day tomorrow and pick a date for your session.  That is all!

I know, you are putting it off.  You have had your yearbook photo done, but not the ones that you REALLY love.  Don’t put it off any longer!  The next few months are going to FLY by, and before you know it, you will be marching across that stage at graduation.  

To help push you into booking that session  (I promise, it won’t be bad at all.  You will probably even ENJOY yourselves!), I have a little promotion to offer!  This was the idea of my senior reps, and I thought it was a great idea, so let’s try it out!

FRIENDS SESSIONS!  You know you are more comfortable with your friends around AND you know that you would love to have some amazing shots WITH your friends.  We can do that all at once!  You will get lots of individual shots AND you will get lots of friend shots too!

Details:

Session fee for 2-3 friends – $75 each person (one location) – saves $25 off regular session fee!
Session fee for 4-8 friends – $50 each person (can have two different locations) – saves $50 off regular session fee!

Each person would STILL get their own photos taken (change outfits too). And in addition, you would get shots with their friends in it. Normal sessions usually end up with around 30 proofs. So, you would get around 20 proofs of yourself individually, and 10 proofs with the group shots. 

Everyone would make their orders themselves (don’t have to go thru one person to collect the order).  Your ordering galleries will be your own (+ the friends photos will be in everyone’s gallery).  

The time would take a little longer than a normal session, because we would be shooting more people.  The more people, the more time the session will be.  There is no “time limit” though.  However long it takes for everyone to get the special treatment, is how long the session will take!

These are limited time offer, so you are going to want to get your friends together and pick your date quickly!  When the dates are gone, they are gone! 

Available dates will be – Sunday 2/22, Sunday 3/1, Saturday 3/7, Sunday 3/8, and Saturday 3/14.

Don’t they look like models?!

And we goofed off at the FD station to finish our downtown session.  Here was a group shot with all of the guys working that day:

They were down here on vacation from the northeast, and what do they get when they are here?  Record low temps!  So much for getting away from the cold.  Still, thought that they would think our “Florida cold” would still be warm.  Nope!  They wore jackets and then just took them off right before each shot!  They wanted it to at least look like warm Florida weather.  LOL!

This was a present arranged by (grown up) daughters for their mom. (It was so sweet that they thought to surprise her like that!)  Now, she did know about it before she came down, but the session was a gift for her.  You could just tell how happy she was to have her whole family around her for these shots!  And because this family was so relaxed and laid back, we got some wonderful shots.  And it turns out, some of the best shots were near the end when we were shooting on the playground!  Remember, it isn’t always just  about the background location, more the comfort and the family.  And this was a silly family, so it just fit!

Thanks guys!  I had a great time meeting you, and I am enjoying working on your photos!  I will let you know as soon as they are ready.

Since we did the senior rep sessions SO long ago, I thought it would be fun to freshen up their rep portfolio a little.  I had some free weekend day off, so we headed out as a group!  Unfortunately all of them couldn’t make it, but there were three that did.  And those three did AWESOME!  We checked out a new location, and then headed downtown, and then ended up at the downtown firestation (I have a little pull with the Orlando FD! LOL!).
