Especially those who are *almost* seniors (class of 2009). I am looking for a couple of upcoming seniors for a FREE session, and some more FREE stuff! What do you have to do? Glad you asked!

As a rep, you would have a session with me (free of charge) at the location of your choice. You would receive your own rep cards (look like business cards with your photo on it) to pass out, and spread the word about having their “more fun” senior photos done with JPSearcy Photography. The more people you refer to me, the more free stuff you will get! It is as easy as that!

Sound like something that you could do? I am looking for reps for just a couple of the high schools in the area, so if you are interested, you would want to contact me ASAP!

I am really loving all of the girls that I have met from WSHS! They are all so nice and BEAUTIFUL! This senior wasn’t thrilled with her original senior photos taken at a studio, so she gave me a try. And I am so glad that she did! She chose a different location from what I am used to for the seniors, and it was beautiful. Rollins College! I have been there for family sessions before, but I loved it for seniors too!

Model #4! Congratulations!

The contest was getting pretty close the last couple of days! Very exciting, and, once again, SO glad that I wasn’t the one picking! I appreciate every single one of you stopping by the blog and voting, and spreading the word about the contest. My blog has never seen so many hits in a short amount of time!

So, what I get out of all of this, is people really like contests! So, in the next few weeks, I will be thinking up another contest to post. Keep checking back in!

That is what we call my youngest.  (From the movie Zoolander!).  The reason is, he is really LOVING to model for me lately.  And you know what?  I think he is pretty good!  Totally biased mom opinion, I am sure. LOL!  

So, the other day, I am on the computer proofing  (nothing new there!), and my little guy (6 years old, by the way), is on the computer next to me.  He tells me, “Mom, I am on your website right now!”.  Nice honey.  ”I am looking at your schedule, and I see you have an available day coming up.”  You are really cute honey, but mommy has to work!  A few minutes later, a new e-mail pops up.  I open it, and it is from my little guy!  He sent it from the “contact” page of my site.  It was so cute, he filled out every box, and where it said comments, he wrote, “I love your site.  I want to do a session with you very soon.”.  Awwwww!

I told him that I would be more than happy to do a session for him (especially since HE is asking ME, instead of the other way around!), what were his ideas.  He had a location in mind, an outfit in mind, and a new hat (he didn’t have that yet, but he saw it in the mall, and thought that it would “work well for a session”.  How in the world could I say no to that?!

So, we went to the mall, bought him that hat that he had his eye on, and then went out to our session.  He just turns it on for the camera!  Such a ham, and such a natural!  Then, he cracks me up and said, “am I as good as Zoolander?” and does the Zoolander face! (I am putting a pic from the internet that I found of him, just incase you have no idea what I am talking about!).

Now, of course, I think my little Zoolander is MUCH cuter, don’t you?!

And here are a couple more from our little session (which, by the way, he INSISTS I treat like a “real” session).  He even asked when his “sneak peeks” were going up!

OK, so you know I am partial to firefighters (could be because I am married to one, who knows!). So, I really LOVE it when a firefighter calls to have photos done. I have in my mind seeing rough, dirty gear with a fresh, sweet little baby. Or a tough fireman melting while he is holding his sweet little baby. What’s not to love?!

This little guy was just as cute as he could be. He was quite entertained that he had the adults at his beck and call, doing whatever to get him to crack a smile! And we were totally entertained when he DID flash us one! LOL! We saved (my personal) favorite poses for last. Daddy and baby. Just love those!

So, I know how anxious you are to see your sneaks, so I won’t make you wait any longer. The rest of your proofs will be ready as soon as I can get them done, I promise!

Whew!  What tough choices that had to be made.  The clothing designer just couldn’t narrow it down to three, so we are going to have 4 semi-finalists! (I knew she would have a hard time! LOL!).   The contest is going to run for ONE WEEK.  All votes must be in by the end of the day on Friday, April 25th.  And I will announce the winner the next day!  So, look at all of the photos, pick the one that you think would make a good model, and then spread the word around to get others to vote!  *Please, only one vote per person.  We want to keep this fair for everyone!*

No more photos please!  Submission time is over.  It is going to be SO hard to choose the semi-finalists!  You have no idea how relieved I am that I am not the one picking them.  I wouldn’t be able to do it!  All of the entrants are just too stinking cute!

Within the next day or two, I will have the semi-finalists up for a blog vote, and then YOU can pick the winner!  (Again, VERY relieved it won’t be me picking!).  Check back often!

This is going to be so much fun!

I have said it before, and I say it again:  I love watching kids grow up right before my camera!  I am always so honored when I get a call to photograph them again.  And I have many families who do call on a regular basis.  I am so lucky!

Well, this little sweetheart, I get to photograph every 6 months.  And every single session, gets more fun!  The first time, she was 6 months old.  She was sitting up, and smiling at everything.  She had the most AMAZING blue eyes, I had ever seen.  Then at 12 months, she was walking now!  Still such a happy little girl, and her eyes were still just as blue as before.  And now she is 18 months.  Running around everywhere, soaking up everything.  She wants to see everything, touch everything, and smell (yes, SMELL!) everything.  And, I am happy to say, her gorgeous eyes have stayed blue (you never know if/when they are going to change!).  She is so much fun to just watch (and follow around with the camera).  I can’t wait for the next 6 months!

I tell you, I am enjoying doing company headshots on occasion now (never would replace how much I love the kids and families though!).  I am learning all about different businesses in the area.   This headshot session was for the owner of Belle Maison Interiors, LLC.   She has done some BEAUTIFUL work!
