This is my ONLY sale I offer all year long.  And the details are pretty simple.  Call during the 2 day sale, book your session for anytime on or BEFORE Sept 1st (session dates just need to be booked during the sale, not held during the sale!), pay the reduced session fee at time of booking, and you are set!

Step 1 – Talk to parents, and show them the website (to make sure I am the type of photographer you want for your senior photos!)

Step 2 – Call during the sale dates – tell me how you heard of me and/or the sale (whether it was thru one of my reps, or me, or blog, or facebook ads, or whatever!), what date you would like for your session, what type of session you want to have (regular senior – 1 location, or deluxe senior – 2 locations), and where you want to have your session

Step 3 – Receive your confirmation email, and send payment for session fee

Step 4 – Start planning what you are going to wear for your photo shoot!  (Fun stuff now!)

(Going into further details) You call (either the senior with the parent present, or just the parent) me at 407-977-6296 between the hours of 9am-9pm on Saturday May 19th or Sunday May 20th.  (If you get voicemail, it just means I am taking another call, so PLEASE bear with me and leave a message with your name and phone number, and I will call you back as soon as I am off the call!).  You will want to have the date that you want your session (with one as a back up date, in case your date has already been selected and I just didn’t get to take it off the calendar yet).  My available session dates can be found http://www.localendar.com/public/jpsearcyphotography.  It is helpful if you know where you want to have your session (but it isn’t mandatory, we can talk about it and figure it out later if need be).  If you want to see photo samples of my most popular locations, look at my website http://www.jpsearcyseniors.com .  On the main portfolio page, you will see separate albums for each of the locations.  After our call, I will email you a confirmation email with the session information, as well as payment information.  You MUST pay the session fee online when you get the confirmation email, or your session date will be cancelled and opened up to another client.  This is non-refundable (in case of bad weather or illness, you can transfer the session fee to another available date, no worries!), so make sure you really want to have your session with me before calling!   That is it!

Something I hear every year – “I’m not sure I want to have my senior photos taken in the summer!  It’s too early!”.  My answer to this is as follows- It is NOT too early!  Most people end up having them taken during the summer or first part of senior year.  You HAVE to have them taken in the summer anyway for the yearbook. Plus, you ARE a senior technically, after the last day of school!  Why not get a jump start on the fun stuff of being a senior!  Not to mention, senior year is an expensive one for parents.  By booking during the 2 day sale, you are helping by saving your parents some money, AND helping by spreading out the senior expenses a little bit (so much comes towards the end of the year!).  And yes, summer is hot outside, but I plan for that!  I do not do shoots in the afternoon.  We do all of our shoots early in the morning, before it gets too hot (and before the afternoon thunderstorms come thru!).  And lastly, your senior year is BUSY!  Once school starts back up, you will have so much more on your calendar, it gets more difficult to fit in time for a fun senior photo session.  I have NEVER had anyone disappointed that they had their senior photos taken in the summer!

One more note about senior photos.  YES, you still have to go to the contracted photographer for your yearbook photo.  (Each school uses a different contracted photographer.  They usually send you a postcard with your appointment day/time).  But you do not have to purchase those photos, you can just get the yearbook one submitted!  Come to me for more fun!  We will have a great time getting photos that are different than the stiff boring ones that your parents and grandparents had .  Photographs that you would be excited to show your friends and family!

After needing to reschedule from a rainy weekend, I was so thrilled with the gorgeous weather we had for Nicole’s deluxe session!  We started our day at sunrise at Cocoa Beach.  The sunrise was spectacular, and is always worth getting up early for!  And then later in the afternoon (after getting home and getting a shower and a nap!), we met for the second part of her session, at Park Ave in Winter Park.  She is such a great girl, and was so much fun to photograph!  Here are a few sneak peeks from her session:

Nirvani was such a sweet girl, and so excited for her shoot.  At the beach, she really had her heart set on trying the “hair flip water thing”.  It is harder to get a perfect hair flip, then you would think!  But she was a trooper.  Anything to get the shot!  (#1 reason why I love shooting seniors so much!  They will do anything for a great shot!)  So, of course, I wanted to have the hair flip shot as one of her sneak peeks .

With that all being said, I have a very good friend in Nashville.  She, happens to be a fabulous wedding/event planner (http://www.amagicalaffair.com, if you are needing someone!  She does do out of town weddings/destination weddings/events as well, so you don’t HAVE to be in Nashville to use her!).  Well, she has been trying to twist my arm for YEARS to get into weddings.  When I told her that I was thinking about offering weddings, she was so excited, and we planned a trip for me to Nashville.  She was fabulous!  She had a nice variety of locations for me, beautiful dresses, wedding bouquets, AND some beautiful models, all so I could do some bridal shoots to start a portfolio.  We had such an amazing time!

6. Best day ever would be – There isn’t a set agenda that would create an awesome day. As long as I’m not doing nothing, it consists of some sort of surprise, and I’m spontaneous, it will be a day to remember.
7. Something that makes you smile – The list of things that make me smile could go on forever; among the top few are spending time with my family, seeing other people happy, scrap booking, my best friend Eliu, snow, and food!
8. What is your dream vacation? – I already live in a sunny paradise that most people would consider their dream vacation spot. But for me, Alaska would be an ideal place! I’ve always wanted to see Aurora Bori Allis, the northern lights, and experience dark days or bright nights. It’s a place I’m not familiar with so the surprise would make a thrilling adventure.
9. What could you not live without? – I could not live without my Heavenly Father. There is no material object on this earth that I value more than the relationship I have with Him.
10. What color best describes your personality and why? – Dark pink. I can be playful and childish, but also sophisticated and argumentative.
11. What are your plans for after high school? – I plan to attend BYU Idaho, or stay local at a Florida university.
12. In 10 years I think I will . . . I plan to be married and be a mother of at least two, to be involved in teaching autistic students weather it be a school or camp, and ultimately to be active in helping others in any way possible; through organizations, ect.

When we weren’t in Tallahassee, we were going around town around here for her senior photos!  We started at Casa Feliz in Winter Park, then moved to Kraft Azalea.  And the next morning, we headed out to the beach for sunrise beach photos.  Yeah, the weather had other plans for us there .  It was a rainy morning, unfortunately.  BUT, we got some killer waves photos, and some different kinds of beach photos!  She has turned into such a gorgeous young lady (OK, now THAT comment made me seem old! Hahaha!), and I had such an amazing time spending the week with her!  Here are some sneak peeks from her shoots:

But for now, how about some group shots of my new 2013 class of model/reps?!  The first two were taken at Kraft Azalea, and the last were at Orlando Fire Station #1 downtown (THANK YOU guys for all of your help, and patience with me and my group!  I know you only put up with me because of Curt , but I really appreciate it!!!).  I had an idea pop in my head to put the girls on TOP of the truck in the hose bed, and take me up in the bucket to shoot down on them.  Don’t know why that idea popped in my head, because I HATE going up in the bucket!  Yes, I am a scaredy cat!  Hahaha!  But I am already thinking of different ideas for the group shot at the fire dept for next year (if they will have me back, of course!).
