Next senior, um, wait, not a senior, next beautiful lady up on the blog is Breana! Breana didn’t get her senior photos done in 2013 when she graduated from high school (well, besides the yearbook ones), but it was something that she DID want to do. Her younger sister is a senior this year, and that prompted Breana to finally get those photos done! And you know what? It’s never too late! If you didn’t get the photos that you loved as a senior, there is absolutely nothing saying that you have to wait until senior in college or when you get married, to have a fun photo session and get beautiful photos of yourself. We had a GREAT time at her shoot. She brought her friend with her for moral support (and hair help 😉 ). Not only is Breana absolutely gorgeous, she is also a super talented dancer. She was amazing me with her flexibility and skill at the end of her shoot. I am glad that I finally got the chance to meet and photograph Breana for her “not-so-senior” photos!

Next senior up on the blog, is the beautiful Lexi! I had a great time meeting Lexi and her mom for her session at Rollins. She is not only gorgeous, but super sweet as well! I think my favorite part of shooting seniors, is all of the amazing people I get to meet. I swear, my clients are the nicest, funniest, sweetest, and most fun young adults around!

And just a little side note, now that school is back in session, my shoots are only on the weekends. Give it another month or so, and I can shoot during the week in the evenings (once we are past the summer afternoon thunderstorms!). As of right now, I am currently booked until October. So, if you were waiting for the weather to improve before you had YOUR senior photo session, you will want to get on the calendar now! To schedule a date with me, email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. We can start talking about what YOU want for your senior photos. I’m certainly not a yearbook photographer. You will get beautiful photographs that you will want to keep and give out to family. Not to mention, we have a pretty good time on our shoots ;).
Next senior up on the blog, is the beautiful Madison! We had a great time at her shoot at Rollins. I tell you, this pretty girl is all smiles, all of the time! Well, at least when my camera was on her. When mom was trying to snapchat on my phone for me, she gave her other faces too ;). But for me, all smiles! Speaking of snapchat, that is something new that I am doing this year. I give the mom (or their sibling or friend, whoever they brought with them) a quick lesson, and then hand over my phone to them. They get behind the scenes photos of the shoot. Anyone who has snapchat can add me (JPSearcy) and follow along. Some stories are really short, some really long, all entertaining! I love sitting in my car right after the shoot, and see what photos they got.
Here are a few of MY photos 😉 for her sneak peeks:
Next senior up on the blog, is the beautiful Payton! We had a great time at her shoot at Rollins! Rollins has been the “it spot” for sure this year! Every year, it seems that a different location is where everyone wants to go. Rollins is always popular. But last year it was Park Ave. This year, Rollins! Funny how things go like that! I have absolutely no problems shooting at Rollins. It is a great photo location, and at this time of year (and time of morning), we pretty much have the place all to ourselves! It provides great neutral backdrops for beautiful girls like Payton to shine!

Next senior up on the blog is the beautiful Allana! She is not only gorgeous, but also super sweet. We had a great time at her shoot at Maitland Art Center. Maitland is a great location, the one and only downside is that it doesn’t open until 9am. In the summer, I like to start earlier because of how hot it is. So how we got around that, was in between every outfit change, she sat in the car and blasted the A/C. It totally helps! She looks beautiful and you can’t even tell it was super hot out!

Next senior up on the blog is the beautiful duo of Kathleen and Tara! Oh my goodness, this was such a fun session. These two are pretty much sisters, and joined at the hip. So, naturally, they wanted to do their senior photos together! How this works, is we all go to the same location, I photograph one of them, and then switch up and photograph the other. In addition, I do some of them together. These two were so inseparable, the other one was just off camera while I was photographing the other. Lots of laughs between the two of them, and it was infectious. Not to mention, it is pretty sweet <3

Next senior up on the blog is the beautiful Shelby! I had such a great time meeting her and her mom at Rollins. They are both so sweet! And I tell you, her mom was a great one to bring with her. Mom is a make up artist, and made sure her make up and hair were on point the entire shoot. Shelby was just beaming with excitement for her senior photo session. She said she had been looking forward to her turn for her session for a while. I just love hearing that!

Next senior up on the blog is the beautiful Lacie! She was super sweet, and we had a great time on our shoot. I had a great time getting to know her and her lovely parents. Yep, even Dad came on the shoot! I don’t get many dads. But he was there to watch his youngest daughter have her senior shoot. How sweet is that?!
It was a great morning for a photoshoot. We had a very overcast morning at Rollins, and that helped us from sweating our bottoms off ;). Also gave us nice soft light to work with!

Next senior up on the blog is the beautiful Madison! I met Madison and her family a couple of years ago when I photographed her older sister. They are such a fun family, and I was really looking forward to her shoot. She wanted a beach shoot, but unfortunately we did not have a pretty sunrise that morning. That isn’t something that we can really plan on. Most mornings it is pretty out at that time of morning, but sometimes it is cloudy, and rarely it is REALLY overcast. This was a really overcast one. However, there IS an upside to having a very overcast sky. It means we can shoot wherever we want on the beach, and don’t have to worry about squinty eyes or blazing heat! The clouds give us a nice soft light to work with. No matter what, I am able to make the best of what we got, and get beautiful photos. This day was no different. Madison was so much fun to photograph, and I got lots of beautiful photos for her.
