Next senior up is Sidney! I had the pleasure of spending not one, but two days, with Sidney and her mom. Sidney booked a deluxe session, which means two locations. Usually, both are done in the same day, but when one of your locations is the beach, it is too difficult to schedule that for the same day, so we break it up into two days. First day was our beach day, and second day was Park Ave in Winter Park. Something that happened for her session, I want to bring up. Props! You will see, most of my photos do not include props. This does NOT mean that I can’t or won’t use them. If you have ideas (from pintrest or others), please feel free to share them with me. This is YOUR session, and I want you to get just what you want. Now, the entire shoot won’t be using the props, but there is absolutely no reason why we can’t do some if that is what you like and what you want! Sidney’s mom loves pintrest, so she had some ideas. One of the ideas that she had seen and liked was glitter. I’ve done them a few times before, and I think I am finally figuring out what type of glitter/confetti works best. So if you wanted a shot like that, let me know beforehand, so I can tell you what kind to buy!
Anyway, back to Sidney! We had a great time, both days, and I know she is excited to see some sneak peeks. So, without waiting any longer, here are some sneak peeks from Sidney’s shoots!
Next senior up is Reyna! We had a great time at our shoot on Park Avenue. What a sweetheart she is! And once she relaxed and was having fun, she was rocking her serious face ;). Photo shoots with me are all about the fun. Nothing to be nervous or stressed. You are beautiful, and I will get beautiful photos of you (and we will have a great time in the process!). I promise!
Here are a few sneak peeks (up just in time for her mom’s birthday today):
Next senior up is Kayla! She is adorable and super sweet and all smiles. We had so many laughs on our shoot! Our shoot was at the popular location of Park Ave, in Winter Park. There are so many great spots to shoot, but we almost always make it into the fountain at the end.
Here are a few sneak peeks from Kayla’s session:
The next senior up – Jordan! I had a great time with this fabulous senior. And as an added bonus, she brought her sweet little puppy to be in a few shots at the end. She chose Maitland Art Center as her location. It is a very hot location (temperature-wise) because we can’t start until 9am. But it is totally worth it, because of all of the great spots that are in this little location.
Here are a few sneak peeks from Jordan’s senior shoot:
The next senior I had the pleasure of meeting and photographing was Gabby! We had a great session at the beach. My beach shoots are early. Sunrise at Cocoa Beach. They are beautiful, and totally worth it, but it IS early! Gabby didn’t seem phased at all with the early start time, as she was beautiful and ready to rock her shoot!
Here are a few sneak peeks from our session:
Next up for the class of 2016 is a great guy! He was such a good sport, and really seemed to enjoy his session. We had his session at Rollins, and had a little extra added to his shoot. . . his twin sister! And yes, she may look familiar, she is one of my reps. But for any and all twins, I give them two options: they can book two separate shoots, or they can split one. In either case, I like to get a few shots of them together. For Johnny and Olivia, they wanted their own separate sessions. So, Olivia came on Johnny’s shoot with him to help out, and to get their twin photos too.
Here are a few sneak peeks from Johnny’s shoot:
Time to kick of the summer with senior photos! Let’s go forward with the class of 2016! I had the pleasure of meeting Aileen and her mom at Rollins for her senior photos. She is a beautiful girl, and we had a lot of fun on her shoot. Lot of smiles, a few “smizes”, squats in wedges, and upside down on some stairs. Yep, we got it all, and best of all, we got it all done before it got too blazing hot out. My summer shoots are early in the morning, but if you are being photographed, you will thank me when you aren’t melting in your photos!
Something that I am also trying new this year, is behind the scenes photos with Snapchat. Add me (jpsearcy) on snapchat, and you can see some phone photos as we are doing the shoot. I’m still pretty new at it, so I will rely on my seniors to help me out until I get the hang of it 😉
Here are a few sneak peeks from Aileen’s session:
If you are an upcoming senior and have not yet scheduled your senior photo session (not talking about the yearbook ones, I’m talking about the FUN ones. The ones you will WANT to show off to friends and family!), contact me and I’ll get you on my calendar. I am close to full for summer, but not totally full yet!
