I was looking forward to this shoot! I first met Emily years ago. So many years ago, it was back when she was in my son’s class in early elementary school. When she contacted me to book her senior session, I was so excited! I have seen her a little bit off an on between now and then, but it was neat to have her in front of my lens for her senior year. She is such a gorgeous girl! She wanted to have her shoot at Disney, so she chose the Port Orleans Resort. Disney has some of the best resorts! Lots of photo options there. And she brought a couple of friends with her for support (and to carry all of her stuff for her 😉 ). I think we all had a good time!

Another beautiful girl at Rollins! I had the pleasure of meeting and photographing Mikayla at Rollins College. Rollins is one of those locations that I can go to all of the time. It has classic backgrounds, and a nice variety to choose from! And when we shoot first thing in the morning, the light is so warm and beautiful. By the end of the shoot, we are pretty hot and sweaty, but during the shoot it is great! And that is what is really important, right?!

I have several session options for my seniors to choose from. A regular senior session (one location), a deluxe senior session (two locations), a senior safari (four locations), and friends session. All of them are pretty self explanatory, but maybe not the friends session. So I wanted to talk about that option! When you book a friends session, that can be a group of 2 or 3 seniors. Each senior gets their own photos and ordering gallery, just like if they were going by themselves. When I am shooting one senior, the other senior is getting changed and ready. Then I shoot the other senior, and the first one is getting changed. It is all done at the same location (or two locations if you book a deluxe senior session) at the same time. But in addition, we will get some photos of the two (or three) of them together. This is great for best friends or even boyfriend/girlfriends! Each senior pays their own session fee, and will have their own ordering appointment. If you are interested in setting up a friends session, let me know your ideas, I’d love to hear them!

It’s been 6 months, so time for my favorite little family again! I love these little ones. They are so used to my camera, they are like little professional models now! And they make me laugh. The little girl wanted to do a wardrobe change for her photos alone (and wanted me to take MORE pictures of her by herself than I took of her brother). And the little boy is still toothless! Last time, we were rushing trying to get his photos taken before his front teeth came in. And here we are, 6 months later, and still a big toothless grin! But he is insisting that his teeth are coming in, and they are right below the surface. Haha! They are awesome kids <3

Parker and I had an early, but great morning out at the beach for his senior photos! He loves surfing and the beach, so it was a great location for him. And once we were done with the photo part, he had his board with him, so we did some surfing photos! I think that was probably his most favorite part of the entire shoot ;).

Another gorgeous senior and another wonderful shoot! I gotta say, I am really loving the class of 2015! Kayla and I had her shoot at Rollins College in Winter Park. It is a great location and we got lots of beautiful photos. Including her laying down in the stairs upside down and laying in the middle of the road (no worries, the road was blocked off to traffic 😉 ). I have said it a million times, and I will say it a million more . . . I really love photographing seniors! <3

I had the pleasure to meet and photograph Kelsea for her senior photos! She is such a sweet girl! All smiles for the whole shoot. We went to Park Ave for the shoot, and had fun ending the shoot in the fountain. The Park Ave fountains have been pretty popular this year! It really is a fun way to end the shoot, and the shots always turn out great. So why not?! If you have a shoot coming up with me and you want to get in the fountain at the end, no problem, just make sure you bring a towel to dry off afterwards!

Chevelle and I had such a great session out at Maitland Art Center! Such a sweet and beautiful girl, and a great location to shoot her at! I haven’t been able to shoot there for a few years, but am happy to be able to now! It is a small location, but has some great things about it! The one drawback, is that we can’t start there until 9am. Yes, that is a drawback! It gets hot so early this time of year. By 9am, it is pretty steamy out already. But thankfully, this location has lots of shaded parts, so we won’t melt.

Another senior guy! And I have a couple more on the books already. I hope this is a new trend, and that guys start getting more than a yearbook photo taken for their senior photos. Guys, I promise, the shoot won’t be too painful. Not to mention, your mommas are going to LOVE having great photos of you!
I met Michael’s family a few years back when I photographed his older sister for her senior photos. I love when families come back to me! Michael was a great sport, and had a great photo session. He was patient and he humored his mom ;), and the end result will be worth it. We got some great shots! Here are a few sneak peeks from his session:
I swear, this year I am getting the sweetest, nicest seniors! And Erin was no exception! We had a great shoot on Park Ave, and then followed it up with a super quick shoot at the pool. Since swimming is such a big part of her life, I think it was important to get a couple of swim shots in with her senior photos too. I have no problem (and I actually love) incorporating what is important to them into their session!
