Another wonderful senior and another wonderful shoot on Park Ave in Winter Park! Park Ave is a pretty popular choice for senior sessions every year. It has great early morning lighting and great spots to shoot in. But I try not to just take the same photos for everyone. Each of my clients is different and likes different areas, so we tend to walk around a bit so their session still feels special to them. Remember, your senior photo session is all about YOU! You tell me what you want for your shoot, and I am happy to make it happen for you!

I had such a great time meeting Stephanie for her senior shoot in Winter Park! She had to be the happiest, most smilie girl ever for her photos! Such a sweetheart. I love when my seniors are so excited and happy for their shoots! We ended our session, like many others on Park Ave, in the fountain! So much fun!

My first guy (besides reps) from the class of 2015! I don’t get many guys coming to have their senior sessions with me. So I am totally appreciative for the ones that I do get! And, I like to think that they have a good time at their shoot too ;). Austin was a great sport, and wasn’t in a big hurry to finish the session, which was great! And he brought along his girlfriend (a past JPSearcy senior) along for moral support. I LOVE it when the guys bring their girlfriends along to their shoot. They help them relax and be themselves in front of the camera. And these two were just adorable! I think we had a great session.

I love when I am asked to do a session in a new place. Never know what you are going to get! This session with Maddie was fantastic, not only because she is a great girl, but because we got to shoot at a new location. We went out to Disney, and shot at the Coronado Springs Resort. This is a place that her family enjoys going to, so it was a place that would be perfect for her senior photos! And while it WAS pretty hot out, there were lots and lots of different places we could take photographs. We went from fountains to the desert to the beach, all in one location! So much fun!

Another beautiful morning in Winter Park with another beautiful senior! I had such a great time meeting and photographing Lauren for her senior photos. She even wanted to get in the fountain at the end of the shoot (which I LOVE!). Just a little side note to anyone who chooses a location with water, YES, you are allowed to go in! We save it for the end of the session, and you are going to want to bring a towel with you, for obvious reasons ;). But, I am all for it! It is fun, AND refreshing at the end of the shoot! Haha!

I was so excited to shoot Jane’s senior photos at Dickson Azalea! It is one of my favorite locations, but I don’t get too many requests to go there. It is a small little park in Orlando, and usually we have the entire place to ourselves. Like a little hidden gem! Pair a great location with a great girl, and we get a fabulous shoot! She was so much fun, and I am excited about the shots that we were able to get together! From climbing trees and bridges to getting eaten alive by bugs, it all just added to the experience ;).

I had a great time meeting Morgan for her shoot on Park Ave! And we even ended the shoot by splashing around in the fountain (always fun and refreshing at the end of a shoot 😉 ). She is such a sweetheart and a beautiful girl. And I found out we have a shared interest in photography! So that gave us some things to talk about ;). And overall wonderful senior session!

I am back from my family summer vacation, and eager to get back to work! And just like that, we start another year of seniors! Maddie’s senior session is the first of many (not including reps!) seniors in the class of 2015! I am so excited to meet another amazing group of seniors, and Maddie was such a sweetheart to kick this year off! We had a lot of fun at Rollins for her shoot, and managed to get thru the entire shoot without melting into a pile of sweat! Haha! It DOES get hot in the summer, we are in Florida after all. But how we work around that, is we start shooting bright and early in the morning. Yes, it means that my seniors need to wake up extra early during one of those summer sleep-in days, but it is so worth it. We have our shoot during the times when it is still in the 70s and well before the afternoon thunderstorms. By the end of the shoot, we are starting to get hot, but then you can hop in your car and blast that a/c!
End result, is we will have a great time on our senior photo shoot and you will end up with lots of beautiful senior photos to mark this milestone in your lives! Here are a few sneak peeks from Maddie’s shoot:
