My first senior from Bishop Moore! And if the other seniors from Bishop Moore are half as wonderful as Katie, I can’t wait to meet and photograph more of you (so if you haven’t gotten senior photos that you LOVE yet, check out my work, and if you like what you see, give me a call to talk about YOUR session!)! Katie and I met out at the beach for a sunrise photo shoot. We had an amazing, picture perfect, sunrise to work with, and pair that with a gorgeous senior, how can the photos be anything but amazing?! We got lots and lots of beautiful photos, and I can’t wait for Katie and her mom to see all of them! But for now, just a little teaser. A little sneak peek to hold them over until the rest are ready!
Not only do I love meeting new seniors, but I love, love, love, meeting new seniors when I have already photographed someone in their family! Most of the time, if we are talking about seniors, it is sister that I shoot, just years later. Some younger sisters want photos JUST like their big sister. Some younger sisters want something TOTALLY different than their big sister. Either is absolutely fine! Remember, my goal is to get you exactly what YOU want! And if your sister was shot by me, you know that your photos will be great ;). Ashley had her session on Park Ave in Winter Park. Definitely my most requested location this year! And I photographed her sister 4 years earlier, but at Rollins. Their photos will be totally different from each other, but both gorgeous! I had a great time with Ashley. She was fantastic, and just knew to wear heels! Yes, no secret that I love it when girls bring heels to their shoot, but Ashley ONLY brought heels! AND, she could actually walk in them too! I am totally jealous about that, because I adore a nice pair of heels, but I look like a baby giraffe trying to learn to walk, when I am wearing them. Totally not cute!! Thankfully Ashley was far more graceful then me!
Here are a few sneak peeks from her session:
Another fabulous session with another fabulous senior! Anna and I had a great session in Winter Park. Not only does she have a beautiful smile, she has a killer serious face too! She was awesome and up for anything. And yes, that includes jumping into the fountain at the end. 😉 I will say though, jumping into the fountain at the end of a hot session isn’t THAT much of a hard thing to do! It is nice and cold and feels really good (yes, I get in a little too if for no other reason, just to cool off a little! Haha!). Here are a few sneak peeks from our shoot:
I had such a nice time meeting and photographing Abby at Leu Gardens. I swear, Leu Gardens seems to be the HOTTEST location I have! Haha! Even in the heat, she kept her cool and had a fabulous shoot! And let me tell you, this girl can rock a pair of high heels! She walked all thru the gardens in heels and/or wedges, and STILL was able to do her poses without any pain or complaints at all! That is impressive! And to top it off, she is a total sweetheart. We had a great shoot, and I can’t wait for her to see her sneak peeks!
I had such a fantastic time with Yadi and her mom! She is the sweetest and most polite girl ever! As most of my shoots start off, she was excited and a little unsure, but as the shoot went on, she was absolutely loving it! She is beautiful and has a fantastic serious face ;), and was up for absolutely anything! She also had seen the fountain photos, and wanted some of her own. But she wanted to practically swim in the fountain (with the tadpoles and all! Haha!). She dove in, got her hair all wet, and just climbed right on top. Love it! And I love that her mom even asked about doing a shoot for herself, after she saw how much fun that Yadi was having.

This session was so much fun! Jordan is such a sweetheart. I don’t know who was more excited about her session, her or her mom! Regardless who was more excited, it makes for a very fun session when we ALL are looking forward to it! She had lots of outfits, lots of smiles, and surprisingly, lots of “serious faces”! I think what she was looking forward to the most though, was getting into the fountain! We go to the fountain, and bad news . . . fountain is turned off! Thankfully, I knew where another fountain was, pretty close by, so the day was saved. If someone tells me they want something for their shoot, I will do everything I can to make that happen for them!
Here are a few sneak peeks from Jordan’s session:
Emily and I had a great shoot at one of my all time favorite locations – Kraft Azalea (aka the “column park”). It isn’t a huge location, but it is great. Lots of beautiful greenery, and so heavily treed, it seems to be a few degrees cooler, even in the summer! Now, a few degrees off 100 may not be much, but every little bit helps, right?! Regardless of the temperature outside, we had a great time. She is a very sweet girl, and I had a great time meeting and photographing her! Here are a few sneak peeks from our shoot:
I had such a fun time with Olivia and her friend (aka assistant-for-the-day)! After a huge misunderstanding, by meeting at the wrong beach for a sunrise shoot (OOPS!!), she decided she really wanted to shoot that day, so we met in Winter Park to do her session. I was a little worried that the snafu at the beach would dampen her spirits for her shoot. I had absolutely nothing to worry about. She was such a fun and in great spirits for her photos. Whew! Ended up being a fantastic session at Rollins! Here are a few sneak peeks from her session:
Finally a senior guy to photograph! I don’t get many guys coming to me for their senior photos, and I think that is because they think it will be torture! Wrong! I keep the shoots for guys short and sweet (unless they are having fun and want to keep shooting). Keep the guy happy by making the shoot short and fun, and keeping their moms happy by getting great photos of their boy. (Trust me, as a mom of boys, we LOVE photos of our boys!). Not to mention, we can get cool sports shots and involve fire (yes, real fire!) if you want ;). Joe was a great sport. I know he had his arm twisted by his mom and sister to do this shoot. But I think in the end, he enjoyed his photo session.
Another beautiful morning at the beach, with another beautiful senior! Courtney and I had a great time at our session. We did learn (the hard way) that if you want to wear jeans on the beach, it should probably be the first outfit. It is VERY hard to change into jeans when you are already sandy, haha! Other than that little hiccup, everything was picture perfect. Sweet girl, and perfect morning. I am excited for her (and her momma) to see her beautiful sneak peeks!
