I had such a fun time with Kennedy (and her family)! She is such a great girl and we had a fabulous deluxe session (which means two locations). We started off bright and early on Park Ave in Winter Park. And then we headed to downtown Orlando to finish up. Starting really early in hopes to beat the heat. But it gets pretty hot pretty quick at the end of July, doesn’t it?! Heat didn’t dampen our shoot though. We still got lots and lots of beautiful photos at both spots!
Here are some sneak peeks from both locations:
If you are looking to get something more than a “yearbook photo” for your senior photos, give me a call or shoot me an email! I would love to talk to you about what YOU want your senior photos to be!
I had the pleasure of spending not one, but two days photographing Brittany! She chose to have a deluxe session, which means two locations. Normally, we do both locations the same day, but one of her locations was the beach, so we needed to do two different days. First day was the beach, and it was a beautiful, picture perfect sunrise! She was such a sport, and didn’t mind getting wet, so we spend half of the session IN the water with some major waves going on! Second day was in Winter Park. Turns out, not only is she sweet and beautiful, she is an AMAZING artist! She brought her sketch book and let me take a peek. AMAZING is the only way I can describe her talent! So, we had to make sure we got a couple of shots of her “doing her thing” . . . drawing! I encourage my seniors to bring something of whatever they are in to. If it is a big part of your life now, you will want to have something to look back at to remember it. Let’s find a way to photograph it!
Here are two sneaks from the beach and two from Winter Park:

What a great session! Meghan was such a fun girl with a beautiful smile, and super prepared. From all of the clothes she brought, to the assistants she brought with her to help, to the pintrest photos on the phone! Now, it is always better to be over prepared, than wish you had brought something with you. So, I say BRING IT! If we don’t use it, then we don’t use it. But at least we have that option. I think the only thing we didn’t use though, was her assistants. Hahaha! Her entourage included her mom (who we DID use), her sister, and her friend. It was pretty early for sister and friend I think. But they were great for a laugh, especially when they were modeling her high heeled shoes ;). And even though we didn’t really use them, it was nice for Meghan to have them there. I have no problem with a small entourage coming with the senior to their shoot, as long as they don’t make them nervous! And Meghan was anything but nervous! She was so relaxed and beautiful and up for anything. So we ended up lighting volleyballs on fire and jumping into a fountain (in addition to the “normal” shots). I love how her photos are coming out, and I hope she does too!
Here are a few sneaks from Meghan’s session:
I am now scheduling senior photos for AFTER school starts up again. If you are wanting to schedule a session with me for the fall, let’s get your date on the calendar!
Another beautiful sunrise shoot with another beautiful senior! At first glance, driving in to the beach, it looked like it was going to be a less than stellar sunrise. However, I LOVE beach sessions that start off like that! The reason is, once the sun is up, it is really bright out and is more difficult to shoot in. Squinty eyes, sweat, etc. But when it is overcast for the sunrise, that means it will be so much more pleasant to shoot in. We still get beautiful color in the sky AND we can take our time shooting as long as it takes without it being all bright and sticky out. So, if you ask me, Nicolette and I had a PERFECT morning! Pair that with her being a super fun girl to shoot, and I say it was a perfect session!
Here are a few sneak peeks from our session (complete with an amazing “flying” shot, which is no easy feat to do on the beach sand!):
Summer session dates are pretty much filled up, however, I still have several dates open in September and lots for October. Want to get beautiful senior photographs? Call me, message me, or email me to tell me what YOU want for your shoot, and to get on my calendar!
I had such a great time meeting Kristina! She seemed so relaxed and laid back, but yet so happy to be there having her senior photos! She is such a sweetheart, and super talented dancer too! After we got her “normal” pretty senior photos, we played around a little bit getting some dance photos. I love getting some shots of the seniors doing their thing! Wether that “thing” be dance, or cheer, or sports, or whatever! It is something that symbolizes something that was important to them, or a big part of their high school lives! So, why wouldn’t I want to get a few shots like that?! Dancers are amazing to photograph, and I am always in awe. Yes, a little jealous of their flexibility too ;). They seem like they can just fly! The most awkward part of getting the dance photos, is actually ME! She had to fly perfectly several times, so I could catch her at the exact right moment. But then it looks so pretty, it is worth the several jumps to get it, I think ;).

If you are a 2014 senior, my summer dates are pretty much gone. Now, that doesn’t mean that I won’t be able to schedule a fabulous photo session for you! That just means, we will have to schedule something in September! I still have several dates open in September, and lots in October. So, there is still time to get the senior photos that YOU want to get! Just send me an email, a message, or a call, and we can talk all about what YOU want for your senior photos!
I’m back from my family summer vacation, and SO refreshed and excited to get back to shooting fabulous seniors! And what a great girl to start me back off shooting! Madison was so sweet and so fabulous, and we had a great time! She was a great sport when I asked her to climb a tree, and kept her gorgeous smile the whole time ;). (Which brings up a little point that comes up more frequently now – girls, make sure you bring spandex with your clothes. Sometimes, I have you climbing things in dresses, and it makes things less awkward if you have spandex under the dress/skirt. Many of you are already wearing/bringing them, so no big deal, but I think it is a good to just stick in your change bag, just in case! Don’t worry, I would NEVER shoot anything that would show like that, it just to be easier to climb! Make sense?!). Side note over, now back to Madison! I loved how excited both her and her mom were for this session, and can’t wait for them both to see her sneak peeks!
If you are class of 2014 senior, and maybe wanted something a little more personal and a little more YOU for your senior photos, give me a call! I would love to talk about what you want, and see what I can do to make that happen! Only a few days left to have them taken in the summer, but still plenty of dates open for after school starts! Call, message, or email me to get all the info and to get on my calendar!
