Another wedding?!  Yep!  This was the first couple that booked me to photograph their wedding.  And while I have plenty of photography experience, I did not have a lot of wedding experience.  Just a couple of small weddings, and some assisting on other weddings with other photographers.  I liked this couple right away, and was so honored that even with my limited wedding experience, they still trusted me to be their photographer.

The wedding was a beautiful church wedding, with lots of personal details.  The wedding was held at St. James Catholic Cathedral in downtown Orlando with the reception following at the Country Club of Orlando. Other fantastic vendors from the day were Wendy Woo Cakes http://www.wendywoocakes.com/ and Diane Partin Parker from Entertaining Thoughts for the florals and tables http://www.facebook.com/entertainingthoughts.  This lovely couple was surrounded by lots of family and friends all day.  It was simply a perfect day!

Enough chatter, sneak peek time! 😉  There will be lots more shared in the coming weeks on facebook.  If you are interested in seeing, make sure you go and “like” my page http://www.facebook.com/jpsearcy, so you can see all of them!

I was SO looking forward to this session for a couple of reasons.  One, it is for a guy!  (You girls know I love you, but it isn’t all that often that I get to photograph guys!)  Two, it was going to be a football session!  Matthew has been friends with my son since pop warner days, and I have been dying to do some senior football photos!

I think he actually had fun with his senior photos.  All the guys I have photographed for their senior photos have been surprised on how un-chorelike and un-painful it actually is.  Some even say that they had fun!  See guys, it is different than going for the yearbook photo with the fake tux thing!  Tell me what you want for your photos, and I can make it happen.  We will get some nice ones for mom and grandma, and then some fun stuff for you.  It really is a win-win ;).   If you have only been for your yearbook photo, why not contact me and see what we can do for senior photos that you actually WANT to have and give out?

Here are a few sneak peeks from Matthew’s session:

Lots of firsts with this one!  First solo wedding, first destination wedding, first outdoor nighttime wedding.  But what makes it even more memorable, it was for my little sister!  I was so honored to photograph this wedding for them.  Not to mention, it was in one of my most favorite cities in the world – NEW YORK!!

The wedding was a very small intimate wedding, with lots of lovely details.  From it being held at their favorite vegan restaurant, to having a good friend officiate the ceremony filled with all the things that are important and personal to them, to heartfelt toasts, to close family and friends there.  Everything came together so beautifully, and made for a very special evening.  The next day, we were able to get VIP tickets to go and do some wedding photographs at the top of Rockefeller Center.  The clouds were rolling in, and made for a scene right out of the movies.  All in all, I think it was a lovely weekend, and I was so glad to be there!

The last shoot that I give to my JPSearcy model/representatives, is a beach shoot.  There is no way I could do them all on the same morning, so we decided on groups of three!  This was the last group of three!

The weather this morning was beautiful!  We had a beautiful, perfect sunrise.  (And just to answer some questions that have been coming in lately, my beach sunrises are REAL!!  I have been getting some comments that they are too pretty to be real, and that it looks like a backdrop.  I promise you, all 100% real, no backdrops at all!)  What we also had, were massive waves + high tide.  I love splashing water in the background, so it is a bonus for me.  But apparently, the waves were enough to knock the girls on their butts too ;).  Such a glamorous life of a JPSearcy model/rep!

If you are a 2013 senior, and haven’t gotten senior photos that you LOVE yet, give me a call!  I would be happy to set up a session for you.  Fall dates are filling up quickly, so you will want to get on my calendar soon, even if the date you want is still a month or two out!  October has only one or two more days open, but November is not completely booked yet.
