I look forward to this time of year.  I have a few families that are so good at scheduling their family photos.  This family is one of those great families!  This is the fourth year that I have photographed them.  It is so amazing getting to see kids grow up.  Don’t know how they are getting so grown up, when I am not getting any older ;).  I really have so much fun with this family, and am so thankful that they keep coming back to me every year.

This year, they decided to go all out and do a beach session.  Yes, just like my seniors, they have to wake up  way before dawn and get out there before the sun comes up.  Totally a pain, but totally worth it!  We had a beautiful morning, and a lot of fun out at the beach.

Here are a few sneaks from their session:

Yes, I absolutely LOVE my seniors, but I will always have a soft spot in my heart for families.  And we are approaching that time of year!  Family sessions for the holidays!  I know, no one wants to think that the holidays are that close, because there is always too much to do.  But, family photos aren’t a holiday chore, they are a lot of fun!  So, if you have been toying around with the idea of getting new family portraits, or want to have the BEST photos for your holiday card, give me a call and we can set something up for your family!

This family was so much fun.  I just loved their girls.  So adorable, and they loved having their photos taken ;).  Which makes my job a heck of a lot easier!  Here are a few sneaks from their session:

The last shoot that I give to my JPSearcy model/representatives, is a beach shoot.  There is no way I could do them all on the same morning, so we decided on groups of three!  Basically, you all will get to see lots of gorgeous beach photos in the next few weeks.  This was group two!

The weather this morning was beautiful!  We had a beautiful, perfect sunrise.  But what we didn’t know about, was there was a huge surfing competition going on that morning!  Wouldn’t think that surfers would be a problem, right?  I would think they are out in the ocean, and we are in the beach.  Well, there were thousands of people there to watch!  Still, we were able to get some beautiful photographs for these girls.  Just adds to the excitement of the session ;).

If you are a 2013 senior, and haven’t gotten senior photos that you LOVE yet, give me a call!  I would be happy to set up a session for you.  Fall dates tend to fill up quickly, so you will want to get on my calendar soon, even if the date you want is still a month or two out!

Natalie and I had a very eventful session downtown this weekend!  I have been photographing on Church street for years now, and there has never been any issue.  Apparently now, they don’t really want people doing photo sessions there!  How do we know that?  Well, we were stopped halfway thru our session!  I was pretty ticked (especially since I have NEVER been told I can’t shoot there, even when I am speaking with Orlando Police officers downtown!  One would think that the police would let me know I was in a forbidden area, if it truly was).  But Natalie was fantastic and didn’t let this bother her.  Then we had moved over to another area, and we were shoo-ed away from there as well.  Natalie, still being awesome, we just found another spot to finish up her session.  Her photos are looking gorgeous, despite the outside complications we had, and I am so excited to show her, her sneak peeks!

BTW, until further notice, I will not be booking downtown sessions.  I need to find out if there is any truth to the “no shooting” area on Church Street!

Back to Natalie, here are a few from her shoot!
