The last shoot that I give to my JPSearcy model/representatives, is a beach shoot.  There is no way I could do them all on the same morning, so we decided on groups of three!  Basically, you all will get to see lots of gorgeous beach photos in the next few weeks.

The weather this morning was less than ideal to start off.  Hurricane Isaac in the area, made for stormy skies off shore.  However, that isn’t always a bad thing!  We may not get sunrise photos, but we are able to get cool clouds, and great overcast skies allowing us to shoot much longer at the beach!  So, I think we were all just fine with the weather we had ;).

We had a great time at Katie’s senior session on Park Ave in Winter Park!  Weather was great, senior was great, what more could I ask for?!  And I think maybe the most fun part was at the end of the shoot.  She was really looking forward to getting in the fountain!  I just loved the look on her face when she got in (so naturally, it would be a sneak peek).  I can’t wait to finish the rest of her photos!  But for now, here is her sneak peek:

We really lucked out with Heidi’s session.  With all the rain we are getting from the hurricane in the Gulf, it really looked like this would be a rained out session.  Even though it was raining on the drive to Winter Park, as soon as I got there, the skies seemed to clear and we had perfect weather for our shoot!  Put that great weather with a total sweetheart of a senior, that means a fantastic shoot!

After a summer full of seniors, it was a great change of pace to photograph a little guy and his mommy and daddy!  Of course I love my seniors, and always will.  But I do have a special place in my heart for families and little kids too!  So, even though you see a lot of seniors on my blog and site, remember me for your family photos too!  With holidays around the corner (yes, holiday photos start late summer/early fall!), it is just about time to get your family session on my calendar!

It was such a pleasure to meet this sweet family.  It was the little man’s 1st birthday!  And what a great way to celebrate!  Family photos, first birthday photos, and finished up with messy cupcakes.  Here are a few sneak peeks from their session:

Yes, you have seen Lauren before on my blog.  She is one of my senior reps!  I like doing sports sessions for my reps, just to show the rest of the seniors the option of having sports photos done with your senior photos.  For many of them, sports plays a big part of their high school life.  So, to me, it is just natural that they would have some sports photos as part of their senior photos!  So, for anyone who is wanting senior photos done with some sports photos as well, you have a choice.  You can either bring your uniform/equipment with you to whatever location we are at (like what Lauren did), and we will get a couple shots there.  OR, you can book a deluxe session (which simply means two locations), and have your second location be at your school.  Lauren’s cheer photos were taken at Rollins college.  We started off with some “normal” cutesy headshots, and then we got some “action” shots as well!  I had no idea that she could FLY!  I love seeing what my seniors can do.  I tell them to show me what they got, and I love what I see!

What a sweet girl Felicia was!  We had a very nice session at Rollins.  The last one of the summer!  (Of course I am still taking 2013 senior session, this one was just the last one before school started!).  We did her pretty shots, and then we did some basketball shots.  Now, she did not want action photos, or the “normal” staged basketball photos.  She wanted something a little more cutesy and a little more relaxed and natural.  So, I asked her what she had in mind, and she said something that they are always doing is laying down on the ground just throwing the ball up in the air.  So we did that!  We did lots of other ones too, but that one is one of her sneaks, because she did just look so relaxed and in her comfort zone ;).

Here are a few of the sneak peeks from her session:

If you did not get your senior photos taken yet (well, your FUN ones, that is!), give me a call or email me!  We can talk about what YOU really want for your senior photos!

What a fun shoot this was!  First, because it was with a guy and that is something different for me (I would LOVE to start getting more guys to come be photographed by me)!  And second, because of the “theme” and location.  I encourage my seniors to bring something with them that they are “in to” or a part of.  Could be sports stuff, could be a hobby, could be anything!  Travis brought his skateboard with him, so we got lots of photos of him with his board, on his board, and skating.  And third, he is a great guy!  We met downtown at the graffiti walls.  Not the best part of town, but great artwork on the walls!  And there was plenty of space for him to skate ;).

I was so touched that even though Brittany moved out to Colorado, she still remembered me for her senior photos!  We were able to work it out to do her session while she was in town visiting.  Her mom and I were keeping an eagle eye on the weather to make sure we wouldn’t get rained out though.  She only had one or two possible times that she could fit in a session this trip.  Thankfully, the weather cooperated and we had a fabulous shoot!  We met early in the morning in Winter Park, on Park Avenue for her shoot.  It was a perfect day (well, would have been perfect at maybe 20 degrees cooler 😉 ) and a gorgeous senior.  And to end our perfect day, and great shoot, of course, we ended up in a fountain.  Gotta love that cool fountain water on a hot morning!  Haha!
