I had so much fun photographing Carly this week at Kraft Azalea! Let me tell you, for those who don’t know about this park as a possible location, it is possibly 10 degrees cooler than any of my other locations! It is because it is so heavily treed. It is hidden back in Winter Park, off Alabama on the lake. The “column park”, and some of the kids know it as. It provides the columns, of course, but also lots of trees, and greenery. I really like this location! Carly was so laid back and go-with-the flow, no matter what I asked her to do. Climb that tree there? Sure, no problem. She is such a smilie happy girl, but she could give me a fantastic serious face too ;). And I was very happy to see that she brought her clarinet. I really like it when seniors bring something that is important to them to incorporate into their shoot. Could be an instrument, a piece of sports equipment/uniform, whatever! If it is a big part of your high school life, you should have a couple shots of it to remember!
Here are a few sneak peeks from Carly’s session:
If you are a 2013 senior, and have not booked your senior session yet (and no, I am not talking about the boring yearbook ones 😉 ), give me a call or email me so we can talk about what YOU want for your photo session. I still have dates available for August before school starts!
More beautiful summer mornings with no rain! That means, more senior sessions! Laura was a great girl who was up for anything for her senior photos. Didn’t even blink when I asked if she wanted to get in the fountain. Love that! And let me just put this out there – if you are having a summer session with me, and there is water anywhere nearby, I will ask if you want to get in at the end! So plan accordingly ;). The reason is, (besides the fact that I love water pictures) by the end of our session, you will be hot. It is a great way to cool off (and gives me an excuse to put my feet and legs in too). I have had girls in fountains in shorts, dresses, and even old prom dresses! So, anything goes when it comes to your senior photos. Pretty much anything you want to try, I will be up for (and hopefully vise versa!).
