Natalie is another one of my 2013 reps, who was wanting a sports session.  But she wanted to incorporate the TWO activities that are a big part of her high school.  Shooting (with ROTC) and lacrosse.  Well, I have never had someone want shooting photos, so that was a fun change of pace!  We met up at Oviedo High and started at the range for some shooting photos, and then out to the field for lacrosse.  Natalie also was pretty excited to do some fire photos, so I was happy to oblige ;).

Here are a few sneaks from her session:

This was a session down in Ft. Lauderdale.  Since my parents moved back there, I am trying to pick up sessions when I visit.  Depending on how long I am staying, I usually only take one or two sessions, because come on, I want to have a little mini vaca too!  But if you live in south Florida, and would be interested in setting up a session (it could be a family session, kiddo session, or even high school senior session), email me jps@jpsearcyphotography.com and let me know.  That way, you would be the first people I call when I have plans to go down south again!  For the south Florida sessions, I do not charge a travel fee if I am already going down.  So the session fees would be treated as local sessions listed on my website.

I was so excited to meet this little sweetheart!  She is about two months old, and I had heard what a happy baby she was.  And she was!  Very sweet baby.  Loved me, talked to me, smiled at me, until the camera went up to my face.  Hahaha!  Put the camera down, and she loves me again.  Even though she was determined to not have me take nice photos of her, I won out in the end.  I have lots of gorgeous shots of her!  And some silly outtakes as well ;).  We did the first round of photos just of her.  Then the next day, we did some family photos at TY Park.  Here are a couple from each for her sneak peeks:

Today’s session was so much fun for me.  Know why?  Because I photographed guys today!  Not one, but two (the other sneak peek is right before this one)!  I don’t typically get guys coming to me for photos.  I guess because they typically don’t get all into to photos like the girls do.  Having a “model” day just isn’t very appealing to them ;).  But I DO love it on the rare occasion that I do get them.  So, guys . . . if you haven’t gotten your senior photos done yet (and I am not talking about the yearbook ones, I am talking about ones that are more relaxed and where you aren’t wearing a fake tux), why not come have a session with me.  I promise to make it relatively painless, and I promise I won’t make you change your outfit 100 times, and make you play model.  We will just go out and have a little fun, and get photos that you wouldn’t mind have hanging on your wall at home.

These guys from today were hilarious.  I think it really helped that they were both there having their photos taken pretty much at the same time.  They were both relaxed and were cracking each other up (which made ME laugh, AND gave them good looks in their photos!).  I always welcome friends or family members who will help during a session.  Hey, whatever makes you smile, is fine by me!

This photo session was for a special girl’s sweet sixteen!  Her party’s theme is going to be “Midsummer Night’s Dream”, so we used that as inspiration for her shoot.  Think woodland fairy type.  The perfect location is one that I have been to before, but don’t go to very often.  Dickson Azalea in Orlando.  It is a tiny park, that is mostly under the road, and I discovered it one day several years ago by accident!  It is a really great photo location, I don’t know why I don’t use it more than I do!

This girl was a trooper!  She was getting eaten alive by mosquitos and bugs (I guess she smelt really good 😉 ), and I kept having her lay down and squat down in “nature” with her pretty party dress.  No complaints (just have to edit out the red bug bites, hahaha!).

Here are a few of her photos for her sneak peek!

And here is my other fabulous Hagerty High school rep, Katie!  We met at the school for her sports mini session for lacrosse photos.  And yes, the fire is real!  It is very safe, and fun, so talk to me if you would like to light something up for YOUR senior session!

Just a few of her lax photos:

Here is another one of my wonderful 2013 reps for her sports mini session.  We met up at Hagerty’s track for her session, and were VERY lucky that day, because it was supposed to pour all day.  Luckily enough, the rain gave us a break so we could still have our session ;).

Natalia is one of my 2013 JPSearcy models.  I offer my models a sports/activities mini session before our big VIP day, if they would like it.  I, personally, LOVE it when they take me up on it.  Sports/extracurriculars can play such a huge part of their high school experience, so it SHOULD be documented!  Now, of course I am not talking about just boring posed photos, that they have done every year.  Something a little more fun, of course!  Now, keep in mind, this is available for ANY of my seniors to do with their photo shoot.  It doesn’t have to ALL be sports, but why not get a few sports shots along with your other gorgeous photos?!

We did Natalia’s dance photos at Casa Feliz in Winter Park, and I think they turned out beautifully  (And yes, the fire was real 😉 ).  Here are just a few from our session:
